Our favorite family restaurant. We've been going for many years, and the food has always been top-notch. Great for big parties, too.

We reserved a large room at 9 Roses to host our wedding rehearsal lunch. The food was delicious and the waitstaff was attentive. We worked with the owner to come up with a set menu for each table. We loved the caramelized Louisiana catfish! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 9 Roses for a private event!

It's very good. Best home town place for traditional vietnamese style family meals.

In the past I enjoyed a cold beer at the bar when the business opened up. Being alone now, I don't want to be tempted to enjoy a beer while visiting Gretna, Louisiana.

We had a decent to good meal here while passing through.Food was fresh, nicely presented and service was fine.Menu prices weren't too bad. Interestingly enough the bill had a cash price and a card price (about 3% more). I'm not sure if this is a local practise, I haven't seen it before.Vegetarian options: More than enough vegetarian options on the menuKid-friendliness: Enough space for kids, no special kids area though.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy acces. And plenty of space inside to manoeuvre.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available and shown on menu against food options.

Love the food here. Anytime I get to the West Bank, I make it a point to stop in either for lunch or dinner. I love the lotus delight salad so much that if I don’t eat one in I order one to go. The Chinese dishes are fabulous, but their pho and Vietnamese dishes are exceptional. If you have an eaten here and you love, Vietnamese food, I highly recommend you give it a try.

Looks better than it actually is , we visited for lunch and we’re not amazed by any means , the service was not good , not a single smile from the employees very cold and not very helpful or welcoming in the least , we ordered sodas with our meal and they brought us caned soda it just made it feel cheap , at 16 dlls per “lunch special “ I just expected a little better service, they did not even check on us once after they delivered our food , I wanted a second drink but no one cared to check on us , food was not bad but at that price point just stick with fast food.

I rate 9 Roses a 3- I give their service a 2 (it’s been good on my best days but never great and more times than not it’s been kind of poor). Some of their dishes would rate a 4, and some a 3, so their food is solid. I haven’t had anything I didn’t like, although my favorites are the steak and tomatoes, cashew chicken, snd chicken fried rice. Their appetizers are mediocre. Their soups are very good. They’ve been out of desserts since I started going or so I’ve been told so I can’t rate those. They do keep it rather noisy with the TVs and music, and the chairs moving around on the floors create an even noisier atmosphere. My preference is to get take out soon can sit in my quiet home.

Absolutely great chicken Pho. My boyfriend and I came by at night to find the nicest lady who gave great service to have been alone. It was so good and we'll definitely be back!

Had to deduct four stars for the following reasons below, however the food is really good. The do-it-yourself spring rolls with meat on the grill is the best. Now to the bad part:1. you must bring out the appetizers first. this is just common sense, unless you tell the waiter otherwise, you always bring the appetizers first. This lady that was my waiter brought out the appetizers with the entrees. Needless to say there was absolutely no room on the table.2. you must replace the grill cover once in a while. I had to constantly call the waiters and servers to replace my grill. it wasn't like the restaurant is short staffed, this just shows how inattentive the staffs are.3. you must bring out the ENTIRE menu. you cannot just keep a separate menu for the grill and when we asked why didn't you give us the grill menu, you then say "ohh it's because you didnt' ask for it" LOL i don't need to ask for anything! you need to give the customers the entire menu including any special menu like the grill you have LOL4. this is very common practice that if the customer ordered something wrong or the customer just don't want it anymore, as a restaurant, you can easily take the food back. yes it is my fault for ordering one of the plates wrong, but what you should have done was just take the dish back and let me order something else.
