“I arrived a little late for the cajun food but they were still making cheese burgers and fries so thats what I ordered. It was really good I must say. The only thing that bothered me was the tables weren't cleaned. Other than that it was good.The restaurant it part of a convenient store/ truckstop. I did see one mouse running across the floor so they need to attend to the mouse problem they have. Hopefully a manger of the place will read this and get that problem addressed. 4 stars is because of the mouse problem.They had a nice parking area for trucks from what I could tell but it was dark and they had plenty of fuel pump islands to accommodate probably 15-20 trucks maybe. I wish I would have counted.All in all I would stop here again. The staff were all super nice with manners and made me feel at home.”

“The food is piping hot when you get it and it almost burned my mouth. That's how food should be served. Fried seafood combo included fish, shrimp (from Louisiana), oysters (from Louisiana), and crab claws. All cooked very well. I think the oysters could have been cooked a little longer though but they had great taste.McKenna was really good on expressing her ideas about the menu even though she doesn't like oysters. I like a candid server who can speak their mind. She sold me on the Milky Way pie that was extremely good. You got to have it.This was overall a great experience and when I come back through here again I'll try something new.”
“Went there for the first time Saturday night. We had a good time. If you drink beer or a daiquiri you’re in good shape. I ask for a gin and tonic, no tonic. They had soda water, so I tried it, ok. Otherwise had a fun time listening to reflections and dancing.”

“This place has been here forever and I still think it is awesome as it was in the 1970's! The lady that owned/employee came out to see my Silver Lab swim for sticks! The place has been kept up but still has its old charm that it is know for come how you are and when you want just be respectful of other's. I'll be back soon to take Hank swimming. Hank is a double registered Silver Lab around 13 months old and weighs at least a 110 pounds, beautiful dog! If you have a registered Lab we will post on Marketplace for Stud Service!”
“We hosted a 50th Party at Not Your Mama's Cafe and we were over the top with our server and service. Drinks were fast, Food was out with little wait and we had a party of 30+ in attendance. I would absolutely recommend anyone having a party here. Call a couple days ahead with a head count so they will be prepared and you won't be disappointed.”
“I ordered ahead on the McDonald's app. I arrived about 10 minutes later. When I got to the drive-thru, I was told that their computers were frozen. I had already paid for my order on the app so I had to wait 45 minutes for them to be able to pull my order up.”

“I had stopped in at the Tiger truck stop and walked here.. let me tell you that it's definitely worth the walk.. (they do delivery to the truckstop too) this place is the best cajun place I've ever eaten at other than my buddy's house. The Bayou boil was perfect. The only problem with it was that it wasn't enough. And I'm not saying that it didn't fill me up or that it was small portions because the plate weighed about 1 to 3 pounds of seafood. I can honestly say that I was fuller than a stuffed turkey on Thanksgiving. I just didn't wanna stop eating after I took the first bite. Honestly, if they offered a buffet, then I still wouldn't have enough of the bayou boil. Most definitely will come back here soon.Thank yall for the experience and taking the time to cook up some of the bayou boil for me that late.. it was perfect in every way. It was... Ça c’est bon”
