“I love coming to Maddies but tonight was a great experience especially! I pulled up at 8:28 and played on my phone in my car for a minute until I saw someone walking up to turn off the open sign. I didn't know yall closed at 8:30! I ran in and asked if yall were officially closed (I saw a few ppl eating inside) the staff told me yes but that they would still serve me. Totally my fault for not knowing the time but the staff tonight was awesome!!! Can't wait to go back”

“Service is great. Food comes quick. Motzerella sticks way overcooked and nearly black on exterior. Menu has changed (somewhat disappointed) and prices have gone up noticeably. Lots of TVs to watch sports but bar is usually crowded with regulars. Overall good place and food consistently ok.”

“This place has been here forever and I still think it is awesome as it was in the 1970's! The lady that owned/employee came out to see my Silver Lab swim for sticks! The place has been kept up but still has its old charm that it is know for come how you are and when you want just be respectful of other's. I'll be back soon to take Hank swimming. Hank is a double registered Silver Lab around 13 months old and weighs at least a 110 pounds, beautiful dog! If you have a registered Lab we will post on Marketplace for Stud Service!”

“Service was quick and friendly. The prices were great and the crawfish was excellent. Nice mix of large and medium crawfish. Just enough spice to make them flavorful but not so hot to light you on fire. I would definitely buy the crawfish from here again.”

“Food has always been really good and plentiful. I had the shrimp quesadillas on Friday for lent and they were great ! Brisket quesadillas are my favorite. Love the salsa and bean dip provided complimentary. This place is so much better than Cabos in Plaq. ! No comparison. Bar area nice , like a mini sports bar. Good atmosphere. The owner/ manager is friendly and handles any concerns quickly. Would recommend to others.”

“While looking for a new brunch spot, I came across this place and thought we'd give it a try. The food was amazing and they have great prices. The service was great. The coffee was self-serve and complimentary so I helped myself while waiting for the food. I ordered the Western bowl with grits. The food was brought out to us pretty quickly and it was hot and fresh.There isn't much parking so we almost ordered to go, but glad we hung around and found a spot. We will definitely be back.”

“I had the pleasure to visit Bellue’s this past week. Food was awesome. We had spare ribs, macaroni and cheese, cornbread dressing with shrimp, corn bread and beans. Very friendly atmosphere. The owner greeted us , gave us some samples and took the time to chat. Highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back in May to try something else!”

“Elsie’s is a favorite of mine so it was a no brainer to go there for my birthday back in March. It was the first time for my boyfriend, who’s from Kenner, and he was throughly impressed. We got the red bean hummus and crawfish queso to start because I think EVERY MEAL should start with those two. The entrees were delectable as always and to top it all off, they had my all time favorite pie in the case. We took home a whole chocolate pecan pie because who needs birthday cake when you can have birthday pie?!?! All in all, a perfect evening at Elsie’s as always.”

“I ordered Shrimp and Grits they were phenomenal the boudin balls crusted with crushed cracklin were a little mushy and were kind of sweet. The place was made to look high end but lacked some ambiance. The home made bread was fantastic but they only bring one and did not offer more unless you ask. The server otherwise was very attentive, I would go back again.”
