“Where to get lunch I met the lady was cooking her name is Miss Jennifer. You will take care of you how are the shrimp poor boy fries and gravy and let me tell you they were delicious. When I walked in I noticed that the place is clean the floors and the tables. I place my order she fixed it she wrapped it she brought it out to the table to me and let me tell you that was a diamond in the rough. Anytime I want a poor boy I will go there. The only one that didn't have was the oyster poor boy. So I took pictures of the place and the menu and my suggestion is if you want a poor boy you go see Miss Jennifer.
Parking: They have the parking spots marked off in front of the place.
Kid-friendliness: It's family oriented they have boots to set in.“

“531 Liberty Cafe is a charming spot serving comforting American cuisine, and it quickly became a favorite of mine. I ordered the honey-lemon chicken with corn grits, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and wonderfully balanced. The atmosphere has that “great little place” feel: cozy, welcoming, and relaxed. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, stopping by just the right amount to make sure you have everything you need without ever feeling rushed. Fabulous food, warm service, and a comfortable setting make 531 Liberty Cafe a must-visit.“

“Me, my finance and our 3 month old went and the service was great! Our server Nanci was amazing when I tell you she makes you feel like your at home it's no joke. She even held the baby so we could enjoy our meal. We laughed and talked like we knew each other for years. There were two other servers who where also amazing named Rebeckah and Trey. The where so sweet and you could tell they had a close relationship from working together.They also made it feel like a whole vibe. My food did have a issue with being over cooked but Nanci wasn't having it and got me a whole new meal. Restaurant was very clean as well as the bathrooms. Applebee's always been my favorite restaurant but it's definitely my go to now because of the wonderful people who work there. Ask for any of theses servers when u go and I promise you that you won't be disappointed. 😊😊“

“Omg! Poppyseed chicken salad wrap. Y’all if y’all have never eaten here you need to try this place everything is absolutely amazing for appetizers. We had the queso dip, Boudin balls, and the pretzel. I love the Cajun German mustard dip. Last time I had their grilled pork chop, it was divine!“

“This Po-Boy was excellent, and I was unable to finish the entire meal. I opted for cheese sticks as my side dishes, and the sweet tea was undoubtedly refreshing.

“Let me just say this about Double Hill!! Last Night we had our Christmas Party There. The place is amazing!!! The food omg is delicious and so worth every penny. Drinks are Amazing and New Owners are amazing as well. I had Fried Catfish and Fries and I thought I was getting Fish Chips. Well let me tell ya something, it was 2 Whole Slabs of fish and bigger than the plate. I never had fish that big anywhere else. ALL THE FOOD IS AMAZING. Also have quite a few pool tables and is very roomy. SMOKE FREE, VERY CLEAN ATMOSPHERE AND MUST BE 21!! PLEASE CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!“

“Stop by Waffle House 06/16/2024 for quick breakfast while traveling service were very poor receive eggs, hashbrowns and toast no bacon told us we would get it in a few minutes ten minutes later receive bacon no waffles that came with the order finish eating twenty minutes later than waitress bring waffles ask if we wanted to take it home with us and the rest of the bacon could not believe she said that , saying they are working on the problem and the to go order go out faster ,it sound like they have a serious problem need to get rid of all there cooks and hire new ones won't be going there again.“

“We had ordered 2 Crazy Cajun Critter platters There was plenty of food on our plates but the seafood was not tasty it appeared to be fried in heavy oil the seafood was all dark in color first time there & it will be the last not worth the $100 spent on this meal poor service as well“

“This was my choice for Father’s Day lunch, I always did enjoy the burgers here. I heard they had new owners and I was nervous about my experience because of my expectations that I had previously. I was not disappointed every thing was cook great and the burger standard was met and this is place still after all the years I been coming here, they still have the BEST burgers in town.
Our server was great brought coloring pages for the kids, kept our drinks full, and was very colorful.
We had got there when it 1st open so it was very quiet but it didn’t last long the place was full before 1130 so it picked up but still was nice.“
