Bar-B-Que Station #1 Independence offers a variety of barbecue dishes that exceed expectations. The brisket may not be the best, but the ribs are delicious and almost make up for it. The pulled pork was a bit dry, but the house BBQ sauce and baked beans were tasty. The mac and cheese, however, was not recommended. The small town atmosphere and friendly staff make for a great dining experience. Some believe the brisket might be prepared unfairly, but overall, it's a place worth visiting for BBQ lovers. The 3 meat dinner with brisket, sausage, and chicken was a hit, served with a side salad and toast. A great spot for a tasty meal, no BBQ sauce needed.
