“Pho Sunrise should be renamed Pho Surprise because yes they have all the regular Vietnamese items you would expect but when "Pho Season" comes and you are cold and hungry you find yourself here to get Surprised with a brisket or combination pho to satisfy your hunger and warm your soul. FYI the amazing Hot and Spicy Noodle Soup will give you hot tears of joy, but also jump start your mojo when you need a pick me up!“
“I have visited this restaurant three times in the last few weeks. Being a big fan of Viet cuisine, I wanted to see this restaurants offerings of pho and ban bo hue, a spicy beef soup. The standard pho is good but nothing special. The Ban Bo Hue is amazing. This is not a dish found in most Viet restaurants. It is a fun, flavorful, beef soup that is really delicious. Pho Sunrise is good because they offer a wider selection of God’s Viet dishes. Pricing, atmosphere, and service is average.“

“I’ve eaten the perfect sandwich again. Mopho’s Vindaloo PoBoy sandwich is freaking amazing. The menu says ‘chicken vindaloo’ but I asked for shrimp and the server complied. This sandwich has everything: it’s spicy, the poboy bread is crusty and soft and chewy, the spicy mayo is great, but the vindaloo sauce has some kind of voodoo magic in it. It’s that good. Cucumbers, carrots and jicama and fresh jalapeños round out the fresh portion of the sandwich. Just come here and try this sandwich. It’s amazing.“

“This little hidden gem has the best combo bang mi in the city! The seafood soup is sometimes the best depending on the day. But really I have a defined palette and am a harsh critic when it comes to food having spent 30 plus years in feeding high end palettes and traveling abroad. This is the best banh mi locally!“

“A tiny Vietnamese restaurant that serves wonderful pho as well as some unique dishes like tacos (with a Viet twist). Quick and fast service that seems to indicate a family run restaurant. The food is delicious and definitely worth a visit for the price.“

“When Ba Chi Canteen closed I was so sad, and made sure I visited Ba Chi Kitchen before I left NoLa this time!! I made a late night to-go order that I ordered several hours ahead, and the food was fresh and delicious. I was also met with the sweetest girl (I didn’t catch her name), and she was so sweet and friendly even though my order was scheduled 15 mins before close. They have my favorite bao in the city, I had the ba chi bacos and the bbq pork baco and they were just what I was looking for. Also, I’ve never had crispy gyoza before here and it’s probably my favorite menu item!“

“Second time eating here, but the first time sitting down! Got takeout before and it was great, but even better in person. Food comes out super quick and piping hot. For apps, we got the crab and bacon Rangoon and chicken curry w bread. The rangoons were good, just wish there was more crab. I'm not a huge fan a curry, but this one was tasty. I had the chicken pho and it was delicious! They really load you up on the herbs and bean sprouts, which I'm not the biggest fan of and don't really need that much of herbs, but still it was nice we were able to add/take away what we didn't want. Brought my little sister (7) and as a picky eater, she enjoyed chicken broth with noodles and French fries. Surprisingly, the fries were really good too. So this place is great at catering to children. Mom tried the pork belly steamed buns and she loved them. Very spicy though! Definitely will be back. Usually it's very busy when we drive by, but we went around 5:30 and were seated immediately. As for the ambiance, it's in the name: modern. Bar was cute but not much else going on. We didn't mind though as we were just hungry“

“We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mike and his family while visiting New Orleans back in June 2017. This was not a planned visit to their restaurant, but one that will long stay with us. Great Food, Great Experience -Do Not Miss the Chance to add this place to your ‘Bucket-List’. The Shirmp and Grits was off the hook good.“

“Nudo is sooo good y’all. This hole in the wall restaurant located by Shyam’s is amazing. The place was super packed on a weekend night, and the waitress catered to our needs. I got the nudo fusion wings it was covered in this sweet spicy sauce, it was to die for. I also got the bun bo hue it tasted like comfort food. The lemon grass pork rice plate was bombbb with the paired sauce with it.“

“I really like this place! I've been going here since they opened. (Sorry it took me so long to write a review!) It is my go to spot for Pho.Their pho broth is very tasty and flavorful. I end up not adding the additional sauces ( the sirachi and the sweet one) because the broth doesn't need it. The portion is good. I usually have leftover. The Vietnamese eggrolls are always fried right to order and are super hot.The 2 owners are wonderful! They always are friendly and I love how they always remind me to heat my broth before eating so I get the best taste. (I always get take out so the 10 min to my house, the soup has lost some heat) I've never eaten inside but the decor and ambiance is very inviting.“
