“Look, the food is always good. (Better than the other Sonics in the area) But EVERY morning they have the same problem. They open for 7a but the "system is down" until after 8. Sometimes not coming back on until 9. I wish they would just advertise as opening later.“
“Go!! It’s SO GOOD! Ordered catering the other day and everyone at the party looovvveedddd everything. So many “wow where is this from?!” questions. Even packaged perfectly to keep things crispy. Have been in person too and it’s a cute spot, great for kids and for outdoor beverages. It’s super interesting and tasty, but fulfills the need for perfectly crunchy and juicy chicken and fish bites. (The vegetarian nuggets are also sooo good.) Thanks W+S!!!!“
“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Morning Call Coffee Stand in New Orleans, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly made beignets and café au lait. The service was lightning-fast, and despite being a cash-only establishment, we were in and out in no time. The staff members were not only efficient but also had a great sense of humor, adding a playful touch to our morning routine. As for the food, it was simply divine. The beignets were light, fluffy, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, while the café au lait was rich and creamy, the perfect complement to the sweet treats.Overall, Morning Call Coffee Stand provided us with a memorable breakfast experience that perfectly encapsulated the charm and flavor of New Orleans. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit.“
“When you're in New Orleans, be sure to hit up the person behind the front desk at your hotel at least once after check-in and before check-out to ask what the best place to grab a snowball (Sno-ball? Up in the air...) is. And if you're lucky, there will be two people behind the front desk, so they can have a fierce debate about it. My decision was made after hearing that Hansen's gave you a souvenir cup with your sno-ball. It was 90+ degrees the entire time we were in NOLA. Without taking the humidity into consideration. So it came as no surprise that the first thing our Uber driver said to us was "Hansen's? I could really use a sno-ball today too!" (We invited her to join us but she declined because of the sugar content. Which... fair.) Plan and time your visit well. Hansen's is a little out of the way and is guaranteed to have a line. I found myself awkwardly craning my neck at times to catch the shade. It's a tiny mom-and-pop place (it's been in the Hansen family for three generations) and the fans inside won't do much to cool you down until you take your first bite of a sno-ball. It tastes nothing like shaved ice. The texture is softer -- truly snowlike. I got satsuma (a tart citrusy flavor that you'll find on the menu of many NOLA institutions, whether edible or in candle form) and cream of earl grey. I could barely taste the earl grey, so I think I should've gotten another flavor, but the satsuma was heavenly.“
“Great Irish pub. Friendly atmosphere, super nice staff, and a good place to watch a match. Opens early for Saturday/Sunday's premier league. But if you want to watch any other particular game, you can always ask the bar staff if they can put it on one of the 10 tv's. They also have two tv's outside.“
“The food at Saba was delicious, simple, and fresh! The humus and pita was definitely the star of the show. I could've eaten the blue crab hummus as a meal alone. The shrimp dish was good, but not as wonderful as the rest of the meal! The green falafel was definitely a favorite as well, even if it is simpler than some of the other options. There was slight disappointment in the chicken not being available, so be prepared for disappointment if going on a weekend or busy time as they may sell out! Service was great and the restaurant has wonderful charm to it! I recommend eating in the lounge if available when making your reservations!“
“Best place for breakfast! Visited on multiple days of our trip. Delicious, homemade from scratch, creative and healthy options. The Interior decor is bright, uplifting and happy. Love the very comfortable green chairs. (not your standard wobbly wood seating). The service is outstanding: efficient and friendly.“
“Good coffee. Very tasty and the place has a nice, homey ambience. They didn't have almond milk so I got coconut in my decaf iced latte. Had a lot of good flavor for a decaf... didn't have the usual nasty decaf aftertaste which I appreciate. Pretty large for a small too!“
“Jesse and Ciara are absolutely amazing. Totally knowledgeable about their craft, and overwhelmingly passionate about their products.Even during mardi gras- the busiest time of the year in this city- my guest and I felt wholly prioritized. You drink here NOW!“
“The owner Chris is a genuine bartending guru and has trained some of the best bartenders around the country. Revel is worth it for the drinks alone but the food is excellent. Small menu but everything is done just right. Great deviled eggs, burger, salad. This is secret diamond in the rough.“
“Even though my mom and I are not "locals," we felt very welcomed and comfortable. The baristas are friendly and engaging. The coffee and specialty beverages are creative and delicious. We will certainly visit again when we're in New Orleans!“
“After having a late lunch at a nearby vegan restaurant, we saw that a brewery was nearby and strolled over. This brewery has a fun setup with dart boards and video games. Lots of space for groups or just to hang out on your own with a book. The owner was bartending and shared a little bit of the story about his brewery. Very friendly and engaging guy who let me sample a few beers. It seems like a great place if you are into sports as there were a number of big screen TVs with different games going on.“
“A nice little family restaurant where you can eat very good sandwiches and burgers. The quantities are reasonable and the prices too.Games are available on the shaded terrace (hence the perfect family restaurant).Service with a smile and quite fast. The toilets are very clean!“
“If you are in Metairie Bar Tevs is a great spot to meet up with friends or watch a game. Great location off of Airline in Metairie away from the hustle of the city. The owners always make a fun atmosphere on game days or any day! And the food pop-up’s are on point!“
“This is a great little place. The staff is curious and the food is excellent. I really like what flavors they have been able to make for their vegan menu. That being said this place had the best cheese steak I got while in New Orleans, hands down! The prices are reasonable especially for the taste and experience you get. The resrurant had good seating options and a place to eat outside. Little off the beaten path but 1000% worth it!“
“My friend and I came here at the recommendation of some locals. We had an amazing time, the owners were so friendly and knowledgeable about each and every cider. We ended up buying many jars to take home.Highly recoomend this place to anyone interested in cider, brewing, or alcohol!“
“I go to Le Bon Temps often and they have some good music. They also have FREE oysters on Fridays but they go quick so you need to get there early! They have a kitchen that serves food and they have some good burgers here. The bar is divided into 2 main areas with the front being full of pool tables and the back where the bands play. This is usually a really fun bar to watch music until the point that it gets too crowded, which is way too often, but you always have the front area of the bar to escape to. The back area, where the bands play, can just get miserably crowded especially on Thursday nights when bands like the Soul Rebels play (it also is a bad "tradition" that the Soul Rebels NEVER start on time so it is like 12:30 or 1am before they start usually so if you have to work the next day that really is a challenge). There are also some people that take their pool games WAY too seriously in here and I've seen a few fights break out over a stupid game so don't get in those folks way. Parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge but if you get far enough away you can always find a spot. They usually have pretty quick bar service and I usually prefer the front bar when there is music as it is quicker to get served than fighting the often formidable crowd in the back. There is always an interesting crowd here and there is a special plaque on the bar involving a historical person that I will let you discover yourself (maybe further down in this review even). There always seems to be something going on here when it seems nothing else is anywhere else in the area. Overall this is one of the best classic dive bars and music venues in the entire New Orleans area. FYI: This is yet another of the bars that claims the notoriety of having had Lee Harvey Oswald as a frequent customer. You can go to YouTube and search for NOLA Gent to see my video on Le Bon Temps Roule!“
“Located in the heart of Lakeview, Russell’s Marina Diner stands as a cherished beacon of New Orleans’ rich culinary tradition.Since its inception in 1985, this diner has carved out a niche for itself as the go-to destination for exceptional breakfasts, weaving itself into the fabric of the city’s dining scene. With a menu that spans the gamut from indulgent fried chicken and waffles to a diverse array of egg specialties, Russell’s caters to a broad spectrum of tastes. Not forgetting the health-conscious, the diner also offers lighter fare such as eggwhite omelets and sweet potato pancakes, ensuring that every patron leaves satisfied. The dining experience is further enhanced by the option to enjoy your meal either inside the diner’s cozy interior, at the counter where the local vibe thrives, in their inviting dining room, or outside on the pet-friendly patio, making it perfect for every occasion.During my visit, I decided to try the legendary Egg Saints #33—a daring concoction that perfectly embodies New Orleans’ flair for culinary innovation. This dish features a grilled biscuit topped with alligator sausage, grilled tomatoes, poached eggs, and smothered in homemade country gravy. Each component of the dish harmonizes to create a breakfast experience that is both unique and profoundly satisfying. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with the diner’s unmistakable local charm, enhanced by the friendly service that made me feel right at home. The ambiance, a blend of the cozy and the communal, set the perfect stage for what was to be an unforgettable meal. The Premier League playing softly in the background added a touch of camaraderie, reminiscent of a neighborhood café where everyone is welcome. The highlight of my visit was, without a doubt, the food. The Egg Saints #33 was a revelation, transforming the classic eggs Benedict into a dish that captivated my palate and left me pondering the culinary prowess behind it.Every bite was a testament to Russell’s commitment to quality and innovation, making it clear why this diner holds a special place in the hearts of New Orleans’ residents and visitors alike. In a city lauded for its vibrant food scene, claiming the title of "best breakfast" is no small feat.Yet, as I left Russell’s Marina Diner, I was already yearning to return and dive deeper into their menu. This hidden gem is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking to experience the soul of New Orleans through its food, served with a side of unmatched hospitality.“
“This place has character. From the moment you walk up to the build, to the memes on the wall. I got the mushroom bacon Swiss and it lived up to my expectations completely. The price isn't bad either. I'd eat here anytime it gets suggested by friends.Vegetarian options: They have an impossible burger version of their burgers. Not everyone's cup of tea, but they are attempting to be inclusive.“
“The food here is unmatched, truly a gem. Service is always great as well. I normally get the Central American breakfast, which is great if you don't know what you want. Bring cash and it's worth the special trip. I've been eating here for 10+ years and it is always great.“
“Nudo is sooo good y’all. This hole in the wall restaurant located by Shyam’s is amazing. The place was super packed on a weekend night, and the waitress catered to our needs. I got the nudo fusion wings it was covered in this sweet spicy sauce, it was to die for. I also got the bun bo hue it tasted like comfort food. The lemon grass pork rice plate was bombbb with the paired sauce with it.“
“We were looking for breakfast place and did not notice that this spot is vegetarian when we got there. When I saw the menu I was kind of disappointed, but when I tried their food, ohh god, this is the best bread I had in years. Food, service, everything, so even if you are afraid of places without meat like me, don't be, because they do have some delicious stuff everyone would like.“
“We came here for happy hour (4-6) for half off all bottles of wine and half off the mussels and fries! Both were excellent and great portions! Our server Sara was super nice and helpful, she gave us a lot of recs and talked through all of the wines with us. We sat outside on the front patio and it was just so lovely, busy but not too packed. Overall def recommend and will come back!“
“Came thru one nite after my husband and I attended a wedding. I wish I had pic but I didn't order anything for me really. Just ate off my husband's roast beef po-boy that was nice size and good, my daughter had the cheese sticks they sell. Lordy!!! Definitely have to get some with any order. Lightly battered and so cheesy with authentic mozzarella! Open late for whatever your need may have been. We door dashed it to our hotel and their food was hot and fresh untampered with and still good for them to eat.“
“We were a large party of 13 and the manager made every effort to seat all of us together. The mimosas and food were both delicious. Mia took great care of us with so much patience and a big smile. I have been to the Veterans location several times and it never disappoints. We will definitely return soon!“
“Fancy but not bougie! Everything is delicious tho I wish the fig date cheese loaf had all those goodies running through it not just on top. Flavor and bread quality was exceptional tho!! Space was welcoming and staff were friendly and helpful! We devoured the baguette, croque monsieur was delicious and I LOVED the freshly squeezed orange juice!! Great touch!! I’ll be back!“
“This place is absolutely amazing!! We got several empanadas to try. Such a cool find. The staff was friendly and it had a cool New Orleans vibe but different. You can sit and enjoy the views of magazine street and the spinach and artichoke empanadas will make you lick the plate. Hands down awesome“
“I've always heard that New Orleans is known for their good food and this place lives up to the hype! We are visiting from Kentucky and wanted some local new orleans brunch. We lucked up and found Up and Adam and when I tell you...probably (top 5) best food I've tasted in my 41 years. Literally, everything was top tier and to top it off, the ambiance and customer service was outstanding as well. Every time I visit New Orleans, I will be returning. I highly recommend!“
“Ok full honest review I loved how fast they move the prices were good I love the seating area where u sit the parking was good the only improvement I would say I like juicy snowballs I would prefer them a little bit juicer but I love how their ice cream flavor was like a creamy taste“
“I got the Chicken Katsu Banh Mi. I asked for the hoisin sauce to go along, but after taking the first bite without sauce, I saw that it didn't need the sauce at all. It was great without it. This sandwich is topped with Tokatsu sauce, Japanese kewpie mayo, and Furikake seasoning. These are Japanese ingredients, so this is a Vietnamese sandwich version of a Japanese dish. A Japanese Banhi MI in a way. And it was really good. The fried chicken on this sandwich is just as any Japanese fried chicken I've had before. I really recommend this sandwich and I very much look forward to taking another visit to Banh Mi Boys, because if this sandwich was that tasty, then I am sure the others have a lot to offer as well. Please enjoy!“
“This is the only place I'm willing to get a snowball anymore. The employees are always wonderful, its family owned and operated. The prices are great. The snowballs are always well syrup-ed and full of flavor.Their cheesecake stuffing is top notch.Even in the cold months, I find myself craving their snowballs and counting the days until they reopen.“
“It's a nice clean place. A place to bring people to come and hang out.Parking: A little small but it would work.Kid-friendliness: It should be no kids aloud because, of type of place. But I don't know anything about kids none was there when I was..“
“Fun and friendly neighborhood bar! Good beer and Good service. Perfect back deck to enjoy with your friends and dogs! If you are looking for something fancy, this isnt it. I would describe it as a place with lots of character. No frills. This place has been here since 1937...must be doing something right! Will return!“
“Extremly friendly staff! I visited this restaurant on 10/9/22 on a late night about 2 am.. I thought this bar sold food, I was extremely hungry, but only had drinks. The two women there were soooo friendly,I ended up ordering two delicious long islands! They recommended 3 other places my fiancé and I can eat at, and we ended up at lamp lighter. I wish I would of got the two friendly waitresses name. Thank y’all! We will be back.“
“This place is amazing. The wings are some of the best I've had, made to order, and i wish i would have gotten some fries. Forgot to take pictures, but I'll try to remember the next time i go. We got the peper jelly and thi chillie wings. Would recommend.“
“I'd been wanting to give them a try but find it hard to monitor where the truck will be even after following them on social media. Well a few months back I finally got my chance to check them out and was so glad I did. The burgers are excellent! The employees super friendly. Can't wait to try them again and sample some of the other dishes they offer.“
“Amazing dining experience. These folks work hard to present simply delicious food. On a search for something new my BF found Tartine. We could not have been more pleased. Everything was freshly baked and prepared to perfection. We can't wait to work our way through the menu.“
“Mid City Yacht Club is a standard neighborhood bar, except that the beer selections are a few steps above and the menu offers good to great options. Their burgers are creative and always great. The bartenders are a bit surly as can be expected but they can be won over by being pleasant and tipping well. And for the record, there are no boats, yachts, or bodies of water nearby.“
“This place is the jam! So happy to have experienced delicious high quality Thai food in the city. Ive been on a mission to find a good Thai go to, and this may be it! The drunken noodles were some of the best ive had and the salad dressing should be bottled and sold, so yummy and peppery. My only complaint was the service, it wasn't horrible but i had to get up twice to find the waitress to ask for things. I was one of two tables so that's hard to accept. Saying that, the food was incredible and the chef came out and was adorable and very warm. Will definitely give service another try or just do take out, but regardless will be back!Vegetarian options: Easy to leave off the protien anld make it veggie!Parking: At the time i went for lunch, there was plenty of street parking as well as an adjacent lot“
“Had dinner here on a Monday night. The kitchen was out of several items and the beer selection was down to just two options. While it didn't look like much from the outside, I was absolutely blown away by the food! The chef here takes their craft seriously and you can tell immediately after you take the first bite. The shrimp were simply some of the best I've ever had in New Orleans and the fried ribs are a must if it's your first time. I'll definitely come back here and try the catfish and the wings as well, as it seems like they're particularly proud of those dishes.Really loved the service and the vibe inside as well, the DJ played some great tunes and the bartender went above and beyond to make sure my lady and I had a great experience. Come down to Tulane Avenue and try this great little neighborhood joint!“
“Such a cute place! We were going to eat at another restaurant near by, but they couldn’t accommodate. Walked to Vals and they were so quick! The food and drinks were amazing and the staff were so sweet! Definitely want to come back with some friends when I visit again.“
“I started coming to euphorbia after I got sober off of booze and since then, I’ve made fantastic friends and memories. Better social spot than any bar. Perfect amount of weird and homey. I honestly probably spend too much time here. It’s been an amazing tool for relaxation and sobriety. Dog friendly“
“Went for a brunch with friends and boy do they get busy getting closer to lunch. Their hot Irish coffee is delicious and comes with a caramel drizzle. I got the bacon avocado Benedict and the poached eggs were overcooked but the flavor was decent. The breakfast potatoes were your run of the mill breakfast potatoes.“
“This was our second time coming here! The alligator and etouffee dogs were really yummy and unique! Better than any normal hot dog. The etouffee fries were a bit too liquidy, and they could’ve put more meat, but we still enjoyed the concept. It wasn’t worth the $7, but it’s definitely something worth trying once.“
“Place hasn't changed since I was a kid was more of a place to shoot pool. After work hangout then later at night more of a college bar. Never had food there but do have a kitchen think they serve on weekends. Staff friendly. It is what it is that's why it still “
“Restaurant, bar, and fuel dock at New Orleans West End.. Walk, drive, or pull your boat up on New Canal. Only a short distance from NO Municipal Harbor Marina, Orleans Marina, or Lake Pontchartrain. Great pizza, especially the Margherita. Buckets of beer.“
“I purchased 3 snowball flavors: mango, strawberry and blueberry. The service was amazing and maybe the cheapest snowball you'll get in the city. If you enjoy thick syrup, this place will be for you. There no sitting area just like all other snowball places.Overall good spot.“
“Delicious. I got half pina colada cream and half orchid cream vanilla topped with condensed milk. The woman was very sweet and also gave us free souvenir cups. She was super friendly and chatty. She kept giving us free stuff for no reason and I wished I could pay more! Highly recommend stopping by here if you have any interest at all in icy desserts.“
“The last few times we've gone, the burgers have been the best ever..... and don't get me started on their chili cheese fries! By far THE ABSOLUTE BEST we've ever had! I haven't found a place yet that can come even close to theirs! Keep up the great work guys!“
“I am writing this review from the patio while enjoying a delicious stuffed coconut snoball!! This is our first time here and I honestly don't want to leave!! Everything looks so good & the variety is just amazing! Service was great as well!!“
