I fancy myself a gumbo connoisseur. I've spent the majority of my life in Southwest Louisiana and I've consumed vast quantities of gumbo over the numerous years. Guidry's Gumbo is simply some of the best gumbo I've ever had. The flavor and heat is spot on. The amount of meat per serving is well balanced. The blueberry lemonade is refreshing and a perfect companion to the gumbo. The service was quick and they are extremely friendly!I honestly believe this place will be on the list...read full review

We had Guidry's Gumbo cater one of our events, and is by far the best gumbo from any restaurant or grocery store. Put down the instant roux, leave your chicken and sausage in the freezer, and go get a couple bowls of this gumbo. It's taste of hometown cooking blows the self proclaimed restaurant gumbos out the water. 10/10 support your awesome local businesses.

Guidry's Gumbo is awesome! Their gumbo is actually homemade and due to people's different tastes and types of seasonings they are allowed to have or not have you may need to add salt, pepper or both to suit your taste once you get it home but I will promise you will not be disappointed with your gumbo and potato salad purchase.I was told they were about to add jambalaya to their menu as well. Cant to try it!
