visited from texas. outstanding food. staff was very good. waiter and bartender both took extra time to talk with us about drink and food recommendations. Will definitely come back when in lake charles again

The gumbo is delicious as always, and the Cajun fried chicken cutlets with garlic mashed potatoes and scratch cream gravy are very flavorful. The stuffed red snapper is a big deal. The wedge salad is generous. The waiter was very attentive and very personable, and the atmosphere was great. The seafood gumbo was good but extremely spicy. The place is pricy. The seafood gumbo was one of the best. Spice was spot on. Broiled snapper strips from the lunch menu were well-seasoned and well cooked, and a generous portion. Lobster bisque paired great with the snapper. Cajun fried chicken cutlets came out hot and crispy and the mashed potatoes were great. Service was solid. Great food and service.
