I was in town with business. Found this place on Google. Was in the mood for a bar burger and fries. Both were very good and hit the spot. Note to others from out of town that might find this place, there is smoking allowed here. Enough so that I place my order to go.

Definitely a great local spot. We were passing through town and stopped here for bar food and draft beer. The food was hot and exactly what fried bar food should be - salty and everything served with dipping sauce. The drafts were cold and served in pre chilled glasses. Sitting at the bar, it was clearly a place that draws a steady stream of regulars.Not dirty or dingey enough to call it a "dive" but those good vibes were there.

Went for lunch. That's where the one star came in. My wife heard that they make great hamburgers and that is true. The bar dwellers were there and it was amazing the profanity they could say without taking a breath. I spent 11 years in the Army and never heard some of the words that they used. Now this was noon and they must have gotten an early start because you could tell by the slurred speech they were already at full throttle with the yelling and profanity. Many times we were tempted to put a couple bucks on the table and leave but we already placed the order. On top of all that the so-called music they were playing was riddled with more profanity. Maybe the bar boys learned some of their language from the songs. Anyway I can't imagine going back there again for hamburgers or free gold Rolex's. BEWARE.

Sarah was an amazing server. Food was good and the banter with the locals at lunch time made the visit!
I choose to go to an old haunt that i used to enjoy visiting on occasion, especially for games (usually football, but the other day was basketball). No Mention of kitchen closing was announced, so we got no appetizers at first. The bartender did not make it seem that she necessarily wanted to be there. She picked up all the bar mats at about 11 pm (in the middle of the game we were watching), which was 4 hours before closing. I checked the time and made sure of the hours, as this, done with no hesitation nor explanation, made us feel we should leave. After finding the hours to be fine, we asked for a round, and only one person of three was served. She then was hanging with some new patrons, and we couldn't get her attention for the rest of our order for a while. We did enjoy ourselves, though, despite the small setbacks.All in all, it was less pleasing than in years past. I hope the next time is better.
