Paid 18.09 for a plate that went in the trash. The rice was hard and nasty and the chicken I couldn’t eat bite. Only thing good was the service the guy at the register was nice

The rice is alright taste like there no is seasoning. The honey chicken taste like the sweet n sour sauce. No honey flavor what so ever. Wasn't even given the eggroll that came with the dinner. Very disappointed with the amount of money I spent. Will probably not go back.

It cost me $17.09 to get all white meat with the Mandarin chicken. Fried rice with nothing but rice no egg, no peas no carrots nothing else just rice and an eggroll. This is at the Laplace location. I’ve gotten better Chinese for half the price in Metairie. And the sauce is disgusting. Not even the right color. It’s beef gravy. And nothing even taste good I thought I would have extra food for tomorrow so I didn’t mind paying almost $20 for one meal but I will not give this to my dog to eat.

The lady running the counter is quick but friendly and helpful. I ordered a bbq wing plate with shrimp fried rice. The wings are huge. The bbq was lightly sweet and tasty. I loved that. I’m somewhat of a light eater so that plate had to be saved for the next day. No way I could down all that food in one go! I recommend this place for takeout. I visit LaPlace for work from TX so I will be eating here again when I’m in town!

My family moved to LaPlace in 1998 when I was 9 years old. I've been eating here for over half my life and I love eating here every time I visit my parents. Dragon Garden has been my baseline for Chinese food everywhere I go. They still have the best dumplings and crab rangoon around and they still taste just as good as they did when I was a kid. Same family has been running the place the entire time. I wish them many more happy years of success.
