“Our appointment with Melanie was friendly and encouraging. We wanted our cake design to be custom but simple even though there would be elements of elaborate design. We were not disappointed. Our wedding guests marveled at how the cake was artistically detailed. Its presentation was spot on. And the color match perfect !Then there was the flavor. A frosting that was creamy, fillings that were full of flavor (lemon and coconut) and cake that was light, fresh and tasty. There was little cleanup at the end of our reception, because everyone in attendance wanted a share of the cake to take home.Thank you Melanie and Caro’s Cakes for contributing to our memories of one of the most wonderful days in our lives.”

“I was a bit early for a scheduled tour in the area, looked around to see what was open and decided to come here. Neat little 50s themed Cafe. I got the French Toast breakfast with eggs, hash browns and bacon and it was all very good. I'm glad I came and if I am in the area again, I will stop here again.”

“Been there once before while on a motorcycle ride with my boyfriend, didnt get to really meet anyone at that time. Went yesterday afternoon (02/27/19.) Met two of the nicest, coolest, funniest chicks, whom just happened to have been the most awesome bartender's this side of Raceland. They werent just buttering up for tips, they were truly genuine. This place has a great local atmosphere, with downhome feel, like you've been going there for much of your adult life, or that you grew up with the locals. Kudos to Ms. Christina and Ms. Meghan! (Sorry ladies, if i misspelled your names.) This is a most visit if you're out and about in the Raceland or surrounding areas!”

The snowballs are fluffy, the flavors are unique, the ice cream is delicious, and the flavor selection is fantastic, with a wide variety of classic and unique options. I especially love their 'birthday cake flavor with condensed milk' and their carrot cake – they are both heavenly! But it's not just the snowballs; the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. “Was in Houma to catch a band in a club nearby. We got there early and decided to catch a bite to eat ; called Spigots and verified they were open until 10 pm. Upon arrival we sat and a friendly waitress took our orders the restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated.. The food was excellent. I had blackened tuna and green beans. The tuna was perfect pink n the middle and seared outside and green beans fresh and spiced with mushrooms in them. She had the Caesar salad-an ample portion . Food service and atmosphere all at a reasonable price”

“I placed a last minute catering order online for a friend whose father passed. I was over an hour away but wanted to send food. I called the location and spoke with Toya. She was so sweet and helpful, she was able to get my order ready sooner than the time allowed online and get everything taken care of for my friend to pick up for her family to have food when people were coming over to pay their respects. I can't thank Toya enough for taking time out to help me put a smile on my friend's face in this hard time. Thanks so much, Toya!”

“ALWAYS wonderful service with smiles and the bread is on point and never hard. Plus it's a drive through an I can't walk far. So that's a major plus ! By far the BEST Subway I have ever be to . I will drive from across town to get a sub from this location any day !!!”

“Roast beef poboy was ok. Kitchen staff doesn't wear gloves handling bread, cheese or lettuce. I'm not a fan of staff that doesn't respect other by exhibiting professional courtesy.”
