“This is the first restaurant we went to after moving here 3 weeks ago. Food was great, our waiter was awesome, and the atmosphere was very laid back. We were seated right away and food came out quickly.Parking: Plenty of parking when we went but I could see it would fill up quick during prime timeKid-friendliness: We had our 4 yr old and 3 month old and felt very welcomed, no judgement“
“Extensive beer list and a few cocktails made with their own rum. We opted for a beer flight and enjoyed being able to try more beers this way. Make sure to take the tour as well - the guides were very informative and it comes with a pint you can take along.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed on tour and offer sodas“
“Abita Brewing, a nostalgic pilgrimage for me as the brewery that ignited my passion for craft beer, left me with mixed sentiments. Anticipation heightened by fond memories clashed with the reality that the brewery itself feels somewhat outdated, evoking a distinct 1990s atmosphere. Despite the architectural time capsule, the redeeming grace lies in the very essence that drew me here--the beer. Abita Brewing's brews remain as stellar as ever, a testament to their commitment to quality. While the ambiance might not align with contemporary aesthetics, the enduring allure of their exceptional beer ensures that the journey back to where it all began is not without its merit.“
“Chafunkta’s large warehouse was in the middle of a renovation, but the open air taproom was rowdy with live music, board games and tons of dogs. Scoring high marks on Google Maps (4.9) and better than average on Untappd (3.78), we can understand the appeal. The best brew on the flight was their 3XPBC Beer Inoculum; an 8.2% Imperial Stout. 3XPBC was brewed to celebrate their Nine Year Anniversary! It’s description states the imp stout is a “triple peanut butter cup beer” and oh did it scratch the peanut butter cup itch. Probably one of the best peanut butter cup stouts we’ve had - ever.“
