Went there this morning. I ordered a western omelet received Texas omelet instead. Service was definitely lacking. Had to beg for the check. When I paid in case she just said thank you walked off not bothering giving me my change. I will never recommend that

This place was really cute & small & the food was really good. The scrambled eggs were awesome. Also, the service was really good. The women who were there were so sweet!

I used to really enjoy Gulf Station but here within the last year they have went down drastically. Me and my wife are a regular here and it keeps getting filthier and filthier every time we come. They are always out of everything. The old servers use to be very prompt and we enjoyed our them! Now the service is less than great and the wait time is terrible. The owner needs to pay more attention to the restaurant and come do a major deep clean and help out the service.

This place used to be GREAT! Lately my favorites have been less than spectacular.

Sit yourself diner style atmosphere. Not the fastest, but enjoyable. Food (chicken fried steak, redeye gravy, two eggs over easy, hash brown potatoes, white toast and decafinated coffee) was perfectly cooked. No water automatically was served. No refill offered on the decafinated coffee. Salt shaker top was once accidently filled with pepper but not cleaned, so it was the same color of pepper, but hosed out salt. Nearly ruined my breakfast. Note: Unless you know upfront, chicken fried steak comes with redeye gravy liberally poured all over - suggest getting a side of the gravy, like the locals know to do. Hashbrowns have peppers and onions, and only one piece of bread is toasted, buttered and cut in half. I'd like them to add 'Splenda in the Raw' to their repertoire of coffee sweeteners. Overall, I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the dining experience. Lessons learned: In the future, I: (a) will bring my own 'Splenda in the Raw,' (b) will not go there if on a short clock, and (c) will order up front: (1) gravy on the side, (2) a second slice of toast, (3) a glass of water, (4) coffee in a 'to go' cup, and (5) remind the waitresses to regularly bring coffee refills.Parking: Facing the diner, lots of parking on the left side of the building on a side street.

I visiting Toledo Bend reservoir and had lunch here on June 16, 2022.I sat down at a dirty table, and waited about 15 minutes before the young female took my order. They did not clean my table, even though I asked for a rag to clean my table. I was treaded like an outsider. The food was pretty good, but the service was kinda lousy.

Having a late lunch, they were out of what I wanted and what the wife wanted. We ordered something else and it was good.

Great food, reasonably priced. Homemade onion rings are to die for

Went to Gulf Station Cafe after hearing great things from several friends and family. I ordered a patty melt with Philly cheese fries. Delicious! ? Staff is super friendly. The only complaints I have are that they need more healthier options on the menu and I wish the Patty Melt wasn't on Rye bread! Other than that everything was super!
