Juneau's Sandwich Shop, located on 7th st by Immaculate Conception School between Ave D and MacArthur Blvd, is an enduring neighborhood restaurant that has been serving delicious meals since 1949. The menu features a variety of options, including the popular chicken salad poboy, roast beef poboy, and ham. While the shrimp poboy was the least favorite, it could be improved with a little drop of ketchup. The bread is soft and not chewy. The restaurant offers catering and delivery services within a reasonable area. Despite being out of the way, it is definitely worth the trip for their great food, although seating may be limited.
