The staff is super friendly, and they are very intentional about remembering your face. The service is top notch and quick. You really could not ask for a better small town restaurant!Kid-friendliness: I bring my toddler with me every time i go and the environment is very welcoming, even when he’s impatiently waiting for his food.“

“This was our first time eating in Lafayette and someone recommended coming here for some authentic Louisiana food with great taste. Without a doubt this was AMAZING. The first stop was the highlight of this year's trip: Large and delicious gulf raw oysters, perfectly prepared friend seafood, friendly, and precise service from the waitstaff. The evening could not have been better. A cautionary note: The servings are very large; my mate's oyster po-boy, served cut in half, was huge and is easily shareable. If you are any where near Abbeville, Dupuys is a can't miss.“

The charbroiled oysters were phenominal. My fiance liked them so much he canceled his entree and ordered another dozen mixed. Lol. Ali brought us a bread pudding (for Valentines day and for visiting twice in one day) which I have never been a fan of but honey that bread kidding was the best I have ever tasted in my LIFE. “Husbands class of 71 had lunch there recently and everything was GREAT. We ordered 5 lbs of crawfish and 2 lbs of boiled shrimp both with potatoes and corn. We also each had a link of boudin which was very good. The crawfish and shrimp were both perfect. The seasoning was on point and neither one was over or under cooked. They had everything you would want to drink. The beer was very COLD. The waitresses were wonderful. I really don’t know how they gave such great service to such a big crowd but they really did a great job. The whole afternoon was perfect. We will be back and hope we will have more group meetings there again. I would not hesitate to recommend this resturant to anybody. Everything was PERFECT.Parking: Parking was easy, convenient & free.Kid-friendliness: There were no children with this group but you could tell that kids would be welcome there and I did notice there was a menu. The seaweed was seasoned very good but it would not have been too spicy for kids.“

“My best friend and I went for lunch. When we arrived, the waitress brought over hot garlic rolls with dipping oil. They were amazing. I got the Cannelloni which was stuffed with ground beef, spinach and cheese. It was served in a piping hot dish. It was a bit greesy, but with all of that cheese, that is inevitable. She got the eggplant parm and loved it! I was very happy with our lunch, plus I had enough to take home for later. I would definitely go back.“

“Had the BEST experience using Crawfish Jake for our client appreciation event! Communication was prompt and professional leading up to the event. The staff that serviced our event was polite and accommodating considering the weather wasn’t on our side for part of it. They had backup plans for us if the weather didn’t work out. I didn’t have to worry about anything day of. They brought iced down drinks, boiled and plated crawfish and sides and had premade dip ready to go. They handled all trash and cleanup. I could seriously go on and on. Jake even checked in during the event to check on everything. And lastly, the crawfish were AMAZING! All of our clients raved about the perfect seasoning level, the crawfish were large and easy to peel and the staff made sure everyone was enjoying them and offered to make accommodations if necessary. 10/10 would recommend and will use again!“

“I'll start by saying I am a wimp of a Cajun. I can't handle spicy so I am beginner level on spice. Crawfish was juicy and a good mix of sizes. Comes standard with seasoning on top. I recommend asking for rinsed if you don't like to get dirty. The staff is accustomed to this request so don't feel too shy to ask. They sell their homemade dip and it's a nice size and is delicious. Onion was good perfectly cooked Delicious flavored sausage. One of my favorites. They offer Fountain Coke Products. BYOB - you can bring a small ice chest of your preferred adult beverage. They have crackers if you need a little snack while waiting, just ask. They have 2 dining rooms. The main dining is to the right with about 10 tables and the front is about 6 tables. They have a good setup to wash hands with GREAT soap. Bathrooms do not open direct to the dining room which I think is noteworthy. This particular time I went to the drive thru and it was delicious as always. It is one of the most consistent crawfish spots in Acadiana. Easily one of my top 3 based on overall experience.“
