“Miss Madero, Nora, and Jenny were awesome. My son and I got the grilled shrimp, wraps and onion rings. These are the best wraps, and the best onion rings I have ever had. We usually go every Saturday to eat lunch somewhere in town. We will be returning here frequently and the amount of food you get is worth it. The price is a great and the service and food excellent. I got the grilled shrimp Cesar today.And I especially love the small croutons, they are very light but still crunchy . Superb.!!“

“Perfectly cooked crawfish and shrimp!!! The flavor was on point and they were super easy to peel! The dip was amazing to and the size cup it came in was bigger than everywhere else I've been. I ate over 5lbs of crawfish and still had plenty dip left over!I will be back!“
“Went there strictly for the crawfish. Had 5 lbs and added potatoes, corn, sausage and mushrooms. Talk about a delicious feast!! They were big and pealed perfectly. I got the spicy ones, but could have been spicier for me. The service was friendly. Be sure to get there early so you don’t have to wait. We will be back.“
“We had dinner with our two girls and they had so much fun! The crawfish were on point and the waitress/bartender were helpful and sweet! It is a bar so there was a man swaying passing our table. We may go earlier in the day next time. We will be making this a regular spot from now on!Kid-friendliness: My 8 year old and 16 year old both had fun! I was able to teach them how to play pool and my 8 year old danced her heart out without anyone getting upset.“
“Party of 4 visiting from Texas asked locals at Avery Island (Tabasco plant) a recommendation for a late lunch between New Iberia and Lafayette. They told us about Poor Boys Riverside. We got there in time for the lunch specials, fried & grilled catfish, wife had a crab cake appetizer she adored, salads, soup & green bean sides were delicious. Service was great, they have a large menu with lots of options, looking forward to dining with them again. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!!“
