“This charming family-owned restaurant is by locals. The food I ordered was outstanding, and the level of customer service provided was truly exceptional. During my visits, I enjoyed indulging in their shrimp po'boy while my mom had the club sandwich. The food was so good that I returned for a second time, and once again, every aspect of the meal was thoroughly enjoyable. I even had the opportunity to engage in delightful conversations with the owner and her daughter, who both exuded warmth and kindness.“
“First time in years that I've been into a Mc Donald's and had a good experience.Stopped in in my way to work and grabbed a burger, fries, and an Apple pie for dinner. Everything was right, hot, and actually wrapped and placed in the bag nicely. Total time in the store was under ten minutes.Staff was helpful and friendly and they seemed to be working well together. I was very pleasantly surprised.“
“I really like this place, one of my favorites in town. The service is absolutely fantastic, the teas are great, unfortunately today the key lime pie was not as great as always, the whip cream felt fake (from a can) not fresh and that was disappointing :c I still give them 5 of 5 because we really like the place and hopefully they keep the original quality of the key lime pie“
“The staff who work here are some of the nicest, friendliest, and most welcoming baristas you will ever meet! The coffee is wonderful and priced about where you would pay anywhere else. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: They always have plenty of dairy alternatives and seem conscientious of dietary restrictions in general.“
“The food was good and nicely presented. It is cute and quaint. Orders are olaced at the counter, you seat yourself and they find you. I did find it odd I had to ask for syrup. Once I did, a condiment organizer was brought to my table complete with salt and pepper. The dogs with the man sitting at the next table were brought water and then some treats, without saying a word. The patrins were pleasant and conversational, the staff at the cafe were "matter of fact".“
“I won't be able to say enough good things about this little gem. If I could give more stars, I would. The owner, Samantha, made us feel so at home here. We sat and chatted with her and got to try quite a few things: a muffaletta breadstick, toasted oatmeal cookie, blueberry orange roll, ham egg and cheese pastry, and the Naya roll. Oh, and a double shot of espresso. Yum! Everything was absolutely divine, and you can tell they put love and care into what they make. You can even watch them as they are hard at work in the kitchen. This is a phenomenal spot that should be a must on anyone's list for NOLA. Thank you!!!???“
“This coffee shop is pretty fantastic! The only thing is that if you’re looking for a cortado or a café cubano… this isn’t the spot. But then again I haven’t really found a coffee house in New Orleans that can nail a cortado without scolding the milk.“
“Really cute shop with loads of natural light and cozy areas to work and hang out. They offer single origin espresso on the menu and the upcharge is minimal, only 50 cents. The barista working was friendly and made a perfectly smooth cappuccino and cortado. Would definitely visit again.“
“This has always been our "go to" spot for excellent coffees & unique delicious breakfast choices. Our fave is the Breakfast in a Cup; 16 oz of blended goodness: Scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, cheese, gravy, all teaming up on your taste buds.“
“One would think that protein shakes are nasty but when I tasted these shakes, they were like music to my taste buds. It has been months since I've tried my first and only drink and I have been craving more. The service is great, the owner is helpful and inspiring. This place really wants you to be your best self.“
“Baby's is a VIBE. Open late? Check. Good music? Check. Coffee, quietness, tea, food, allll the things! Came here to read and vibe around 6:30 pm on a Tuesday and vibe was immaculate to do so. My partner and I really enjoyed the space + definitely plan on coming back here and adding to my nola fav coffee spots. I wish Baby's much success. Truly.“
“What a wonderful breakfast and coffee spot. Whether you want to visit to connect with the community or to sit and get some work done, this is the spot.Stop by and try one of their delicious beverages or breakfast items. They are warm and welcoming and the food is amazing!“
“Came here for breakfast. I had the catfish bene, but instead of on toast, I had it on a bed of grits and they happily accommodated my request. The fish was absolutely delicious. Light but crunchy and seasoned very well. Can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu.“
“came here for the first time and staff was so sweet! it’s such a nice atmosphere, feels like a small haven for the local community and the drinks and food were amazing! also, they had initially messed up my drink order. i didnt say anything because i wasnt peeved at all but they came up afterwards, apologized and made me the drink again. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a lil positivity in your day.“
“Excellent, authentic Honduran food and great atmosphere . We will be keeping it on our list of places to visit so that we can explore the rest of the menu! From what we had it is no wonder why Alma Cafe has been nominated for a James Beard Award.“
“Some say the day starts when the sun rises, but any masters of life know time doesn't begin until you've stepped into Satsuma Cafe. Forget the fart (& whatever else) that freely flowed out of you in the early AM. No need to remember the muscle you pathetically pulled failing to reach the snooze button shortly after. Nothing before Satsuma matters. (And nothing after.) Married? Now you're single. A parent? There was never a child. Employed? Step directly to the cash register to completely omit any & all responsibilities. Who needs a paycheck, family or a life when the cuisine & vibes are this spectacular? Without Satsuma you are nothing. Make something of yourself - nay - make something EXTRAORDINARY of yourself & come support a cafe that will revolutionize the very core of your DNA. I had the lavendar lemonade and brunch hash. Was good. 5 stars.“
“Feels like a neighborhood cafe or coffee shop and may get overlooked but it has the best food of any that we had in New Orleans the last few days. Red beans and rice was superb. Tasso sandwich was new to me and delicious-lots of different flavors on thick grilled bread. And the crawfish mashed potatoes were fantastic. I saw Chef Dwayne (?) making it and he offered a taste. Oh my. Service was warm and personable. Highly recommend.“
“Ok ok ok… my second time here within 3 days! And I am now eating something different, the menu is worth exploring! I don’t feel like I am in belle chasse when I’m eating here. The interior design was done with class and fun! This place is great!Kid-friendliness: I’d definitely bring my daughter. They also have seating accommodations for babies!“
“Such a lovely little place. I've lived in the neighborhood for years and I can't fathom why I'm not in here all the time. Friends have worked here and I've played tunes here a couple times. Owner is the sweetest dude. The perfect atmosphere to read, draw, listen to music, work "from home". Drinks are delicious and they have my favorite falafel sandwich in town.Lots of personality and unique visual charm. All of it loving and welcoming“
“this place is my favorite! pork and chicken bahn mi are both incredible, pork breakfast roll is amazing good and crispy, and the ice coffee is simply the best. the bahn mi has homemade bread that is simply incredible. and the sandwich does NOT skimp on vegetables and meat, the second time i went i just decided to give in to my deepest wishes and bought two lol. for whatever reason the address on google is listed wrong, behrman HIGHWAY not avenue!! i hope anyone who accidentally drove all the way out there makes it to this holy mecca one day. it is incredibly worth it.“
“This coffee shop is one of my favorites in New Orleans, I always go here when I’m in the Bywater. They have delicious drinks and food here and such a good atmosphere. The outdoor patio is well shaded, large, and perfect for a nice day (though somewhat lacking in outlets), and the inside is filled with local art and good vibes.Vegetarian options: I got a delicious bean and potato and cheese bowl that was very affordable and tasty.“
“The food was amazing. My first visit I had the Nutella milk tea 10/10. Then, I had the brown sugar milk tea, once again 10/10. Service was AMAZING !!! They make you feel so comfortable. Very very patient individuals, and the vibe is just there.“
“My Americano from here was decent and I have high standards for my espresso. However, I would suggest skipping the pastries (they told me their croissants were from Costco), and the barista told my friend they did pour overs, but actually had no idea how to make one. It was very strange. This coffee stall is located inside the stunning and historic St. Roche Market, which is a cool space.“
“My kids love bubble tea and we were on the Westbank , so we found this little spot by using google. I'm so glad we did! The teas and boba options were familiar but unique and the cheesecake was phenomenal! The service is amazing and it's bright and comfortable inside. Highly recommend!“
“They have the best doughnuts in the area. The filling is enough for the size of the doughnut which is large. They were very fresh and tasty. I also got an apple fritter for a elderly neighbor and he said it was like the old fashion kind when he was young.“
“ive been meaning to go since theyve opened. such a good experience, the worker was very nice, its very clean yet welcoming, and the drink was soo good. i always get the same one at the lakeside location but it just hit different from here! love it will treat myself by comming here “
“Great selection of drinks and snacks! The teas are very refreshing and not too sweet. Any cafe that serves yogurt drinks is a winner in my book. The roti and crepes are amazing in both savory and sweet versions. The coconut waffle is both unique and able to hit the spot. I'm already a repeat visitor and plan to come again. My servers each time were super nice and friendly, and the overall vibe of the place is comfy and welcoming. So happy to have another tea shop in the westbank!“
“It was our first time visiting and everything we got was delicious!! It seems they just opened at a new location. Inside was lovely and very inviting. Staff was kind and welcoming; answered any questions I had. The breakfast sandwich was packed with flavor and was very filling! The white chocolate raspberry latte was recommended to me by the staff and it did not disappoint! Loved it. Also got some espresso beans to-go for my espresso machine at home. But I’ll definitely be visiting again. Thank you! ☺️“
“Omg! What can I say about this place. The old brew options, actually iced coffee in general options are truly endless! I also order the spinach puff and lord is was amazing. They were out of a few food items that we ordered but made is very easy to replace the items with something else.“
“PJ’s is absolutely my go to spot for coffee. I rarely get a chance to go to this particular store in New Orleans East, but the few time I have been there the service is always outstanding. The staff is always friendly, and this morning after placing my order and stepping away from the counter to the seating area on of the employees, I believe Monica, brought the coffee to where I was. This type of service is nearly extinct these days.“
“What a great find. Off the main drag in a colorful neighborhood, with plenty of parking. Very good coffee. A few gluten free options. Fresh juices. Pre-made goodies, quiche, bfast burritos (so-so). Eclectic vibe. Music went along with the vibe, perfect volume. We came at 1:30 in the afternoon, no wait and open seating.“
“This is a fantastic little independent coffee shop. The place is bright and clean, well decorated, and the owner works here. Every customer gets a personal greeting and a genuine smile. It has a drive-thru and there’s plenty of seating, some soft chairs and several tables, one perfectly suited for a group, with many outlets in the center for tech. I ordered a latte that is perfect, not all foam like I get from chains. The chocolate croissant reminded me of pastries I’ve had in Europe - buttery but not greasy, with high-quality dark chocolate that wasn’t ruined by lots of refined sugar. If I could give six stars for atmosphere, they would get six stars. The Baristas here know their products to the smallest detail; you can tell from the way they you questions about your order. They laugh and joke with customers but not at the expense of their work. They laugh WHILE working, not INSTEAD of working. If there was an Academy Awards for small businesses, this one would take the gold.“
“Alright so hear me out ? I live in a relatively small town in FL and to be honest I have no idea how your King's Cake got here- it literally showed up in my office break room this morning. But it is literally the best King's Cake I've ever had. Never been here or had any of the other pastries but dang, this ones good. 10/10 would recommend ???“
“Best place to get a loaded tea. I've driven from the northshore to buy my loaded teas from her. Love the inspirational messages on each cup. So blessed to have found this place.Dietary restrictions: It's a loaded tea shop. Anything you want, they got you.Parking: It's your basic parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They make my daughter feel like family every time we go. God bless these loving people.“
