“Great local spot to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even stopping in to have a drink. Staff is always friendly. The owners are extremely nice family oriented people. Food is always great. Gets busy on Saturday with the Gretna market.Kid-friendliness: Pretty much anytime you go there you’ll find children there with their parents never have seen or heard anything out of line.Wheelchair accessibility: I had a friend who lived not far from the restaurant and we would meet there she had no problems I entering or exiting or using the facilities.“
“This is a fantastic little independent coffee shop. The place is bright and clean, well decorated, and the owner works here. Every customer gets a personal greeting and a genuine smile. It has a drive-thru and there’s plenty of seating, some soft chairs and several tables, one perfectly suited for a group, with many outlets in the center for tech. I ordered a latte that is perfect, not all foam like I get from chains. The chocolate croissant reminded me of pastries I’ve had in Europe - buttery but not greasy, with high-quality dark chocolate that wasn’t ruined by lots of refined sugar. If I could give six stars for atmosphere, they would get six stars. The Baristas here know their products to the smallest detail; you can tell from the way they you questions about your order. They laugh and joke with customers but not at the expense of their work. They laugh WHILE working, not INSTEAD of working. If there was an Academy Awards for small businesses, this one would take the gold.“
“My first time dropping in, I just picked up a banana & raspberry bubble tea with crystal jelly! Absolutely delicious, they have plenty of jerky options to check out, and they were very friendly! Drop by and get yourself something refreshing!“
“This was my first time at a PJ’s Coffee. I like that they have a drive through. There are a few seats when you first walk in but if you walk toward the back, there is even more seating. They have a lot of things other than food or drinks to buy. I tried a large hot coffee, yogurt parfait, a stuffed sausage egg & cheese waffle and the total was $13.94. Overall I really liked everything about the place. The only thing that would have made it better was if the staff was more friendly/happy. The person I had didn’t seem too thrilled to be there but maybe it was just a bad day for them. I would still recommend taking the trip!“
“I’m just here visiting for the first time with my family and Kendrick served our family so wonderfully. He’s one of the kindest people I’ve met and an obvious hard worker. Thank you Kendrick for making my time at Cafe Du Monde so wonderful:)“
“A great place with an extensive menu and friendly service! The fried shrimp is so delicious- be sure to try the potato salad with it if you can! The special item I specifically go there for is Green beans- they're the best! Fresh green beans in a savory tomato sauce with onions, it's so so good! Can't find them anywhere else like that! If you're in downtown Gretna during the week, it's a great place to stop for breakfast and lunch.“
“The cashier Shwron was very nice and courteous to not only me, but the other customers she waited on. She was very patient and took the time to answer all questions I had about the menu. Also I noticed her wiping down tables in between customers. She appeared to be an exceptionally hard worker. If I had the power to do so I would give her a raise.“
“I got there and I use the kiosk so many people working there but a lot of them just walking around the food I got I had to wait a good 15 minutes for when I got home which is only a couple minutes away. My food was not good at all fish sandwich. My husband said tasted like it was sitting out for a long time French fries were cold even when I tested them on my way home so I guess I won’t be going to that McDonald’s anymore“
“If I could give this atmosphere a 10 star- I would! Every holiday is just magically with amazing decor. I love this place. Coffee choices 5/5, gelato is 5/5! Breakfast 10/10- the waffle was the best I’ve ever had. Bagels were fine but the breakfast croissant was “
