The food was too bland for me. My husband liked it but I was just disappointed. Ruined my whole mood.

I've tried several Chinese food places around town, but this one ranks last on my list. I ordered chicken fried rice, shrimp toast, and mandarin chicken to start. The fried rice was not fresh made like I'm use to. If you like all the extra stuff (eggs, bean sprouts) it doesn't have that. The flavor was also really bland. I actually added sauce to it (which I never need to do normally). The shrimp toast was fine. The mandarin chicken...Maybe it's not the chicken as much as the sauces. I got some type of brown gravy with what seemed like sweet and sour sauce? I've never gotten gravy with any of these items before. The real point is, this was some of the least appetizing Chinese food I've had in the city. Most places seem to have "all the same things" but this was just bad, and I was starving when I got it, so I know it was bad. Additionally, be careful about double tipping. I tipped on the app. When I paid in person it asked for a tip (and I didn't want to skip, thinking maybe it didn't register when I placed the order). So I double tipped...Also the two people in the kitchen weren't wearing masks when I came in. Only the cashier behind the plexiglass. Oh well. I'm not angry, just disappointed. If you think this is great Chinese food, you haven't been around the block in this town.

This place has really gone downhill. I ordered a general chicken combo and the chicken tasted like it had been made hours before and just sat out on the counter. Plus, when I placed my order, the girl was super rude and was rushing me through placing it just because the other line was ringing. Probably won't be back here again anytime soon.

My son loves shrimp fried rice but the place we usually get it from was closed so I remembered seeing this place once while looking for another place and decided to give it a whirl. Well let me just say, my picky son was not disappointed. I ordered a quart and asked for two plates and we were on our way. We sat in the car and ate and it was delicious. As I poured it from the container onto the plate, the shrimp just kept tumbling out. I apologized to my son for taking all the shrimp but they were not just on top, they were throughout so there were plenty left for him. We took care of our business and when we returned home, he asked me to warm up the rice. That's when I knew it was a hit! I will be back real soon and I plan on ordering more items. I'm looking forward to it. Missing one star simply for visual appeal. Not a beautiful place but it gets the job done.

I can't believe as much as my family and I eat here that we have never rated this little Metairie gem. I have been eating here for years now. Whenever you want low cost Chinese food, this is your place. Weather it's the amazing prices for lunch specials or dinner specials, you'll never break the bank. I only had one bad experience but that's not gonna stop me from still giving it 5 stars. I ordered the shrimp egg fo young and it was very greasy. Other than that, everything is very good. The staff is very friendly and you can see them making your food as you wait. It's very clean and they're following great COVID protocol. So next time you're in the Metairie area and look for quick and cheap Chinese food this is your please.

Orders are always on time and continue to satisfy my cravings whenever they arrive. Not pictured is the egg foo young which is absolutely to die for and my boyfriend said one of the better ones around Nola he's had. I also LOOOVE the steamed dumplings.... like really love.. the sauce they give with the dumplings is so savory I just can't deal. I save it for my own warm up dumplings I might snack on the next day! They give very large portions as well!!! The prices from a few years ago also aren't accurate! About a $2-$4 difference.

Those 5 star ratings are lies. There is absolutely nothing authentic at this restaurant. The food was absolutely disgusting and I’m never eating here again. If you are looking for good and authentic Chinese food do not go here.

Very basic. The wontons were good and the generals tsaos chicken was good but everything else was very bland. I did not like the shrimp wontons or any other appetizer we got and the Wonton soup tasted soapy.

Love it. Got food. Fast service. Not too expensive. I love the sesame chicken. You can order online or on the phone.

Crabmeat Creamcheese Wontons, House Fried Rice General Tso's Chicken Crabmeat cream cheese wontons are a Chinese Food favorite of mine, my true go-to appetizer when I comes to American style Chinese takeout. The breading of the wontons were crispy on the edges, with perfect balance of crunch and fluffiness in the center. The filling was a creamy and savory blend of crabmeat and cream cheese. No flavor was overpowering and the texture was light and melted in every bite. The General Tso's chicken (white meat option) had tasty sauce with a bit of spice. The chicken was perfectly fried with a light crispy breading and juicy center. The side of rice with mixed vegetables did not meet my expectations visually, but paired nicely with the General Tso's chicken. The vegetables were steamed well but didn't blend with the rice. Overall this was a filling and satisfying meal. I would order the wontons and Chicken again. I may try a different rice on my next visit. I ordered my meal using the Waitr app delivery service.

Ordered a lot of take out here on Christmas Day. I ate the Sesame Chicken, Egg Rolls, Egg Drop Soup and Crab Meat Rangoons. All hit the spot in a lovely greasy way. This is definitely beer food, y'all. The employee who took my order was lovely and kind. Overall this is good standard American Chinese food.
