This was one of my fav restaurants when Ms. Shirley owned it. Since then the food has consistently gone down and the prices have gone up. 2 adults and 1 child for lunch was $69.00. I ordered Almond Shrimp. The sauce was jelling before my eyes and the fried rice was dark and crispy right out of microwave. For a New Orleans resturant the shimp, as before, should have been devained, but they weren't. A total of 8 whole almonds and very few if any Chinese vegetables. Carrots and broccoli were the majority. 2nd meal was beef and peppers. Tasted like Heintz brown gravy over deli stripped roast beaf and again very little peppers and mostly onions. I wont even address the 3rd meal. Crab Rangoon waa no more than cream cheese frind in a won ton wrap. I would have rated it lower but the sprite was cold. Would not recommend. Very poor quality of Chinese food

Idk if we caught them on a bad day from reading the other reviews.... but I did not enjoy it at all. Food took awhile to come and we were the first and only customers there. I had orange chicken which was almost too hard to bite. The shrimp fried rice wasnt hot and barely had and shrimp.

I wish the cashier was more friendly and helpful. I explained that this was my 1st time trying the restaurant.Food was ok . Definitely should have asked more questions relating food. Shrimp egg roll is not your traditional. (It wasTasty/ no vegetables)

Pricing on menu is not what is rung up..Shrimp dumplings on menu are $6.80, was charged $7.35, not much however, it is the principal of it.. When I asked about the discrepancy was told that is what the the computer says and I countered with the menu amount is what I go by and the restaurant should have an up to date menu.Asked to speak to manager, was told manager stepped out...Will never darken their door!

I ordered the Mandarin Chicken which came with a generous portion, definitely enough for two people. It comes with white meat but was a little dry for my taste. The low lit dining room was cozy and had background music. The pictures on the wall, the tables, and accessories are nicely done.

Went for lunch and had a great meal. Started off with Wonton soup and it was one of the best I ever had. Wife and daughter split a large egg drop soup and it was thick with plenty egg in it and was served with crispy wontons. Wife had Shrimp w/ lobster sauce, daughter had orange chicken and I had Boneless chicken. All of them were really good, hot fresh, flavorful and you get a large portion. Drinks are served in cans with a glass of ice. All in for the 3 of us it was $63 for lunch but we had enough leftovers to take home for supper. It was my first time there but won't be my last.

The Dim Sum is not the Dim Sum I am use to. I am use to an authentic Chinese Dim Sum and this is definitely not it! The food was a waste of my money. As the Dim Sum did not even taste what I am use to growing up as a child and did not taste authentic. If I wanted to spend over $100 on food that wasn't great, I could've saved my self the money and gotten McDonald's instead.Maybe their other Chinese Food is good, but their menu is not an authentic Chinese Food menu.I still would not recommed this place.

Came back after a couple of month’s. My main reason was the Paper shrimp…unique and a top 5 appetizer of all Asian restaurants! This time the pork fried rice was superior to the multiple item rice… large pieces of pork and very large portion, enough for several take home meals. Very good service, too. Will be a regular place for us.

Always love getting food from here. Family oriented and owned, the atmosphere is amazing! The food is delicious, and I always love to chat at the counter while I'm waiting for my takeout!

Went in here for dinner with my family tonight (8/26/22). We ordered our food. A little while later looked up and there were cockroaches walking over the fish tank. Fortunately we hadn't eaten any of the food. If that is in the dining area I don't want to know what its in the kitchen.

This is truly a hidden gem. I went here a number of times before the change in ownership and went back again recently and it's still delicious! We ordered a couple of things off the dim sum menu, and the whole flounder with ginger and scallion. Our friends got the fried rice, and the table split an order of eggrolls. It sounds silly, but I am still thinking about those egg rolls - they were the best I've ever had and that is not hyperbole - obviously made from scratch in-house with a perfect crunchy outside and fresh tasting veggies inside and not at all greasy. The flounder was yummy too, I wish it had a little more ginger. The dumplings from the dim sum menu were of course delicious. I love the array of condiments on the table too.

This place used to be good..... years ago. I just moved back to the area and wanted to try it out again. It wasn't even edible. Total waste.

Has been in NOLA for over 15 years, first time trying the dishes here. I am amazed by the dishes, especially paper shrimp. Taste so good, so fresh! Definitely worth the money.
