“Love this place great people to hang around bartender is wonderful and on key. Doorman politis person I've ever dealt with in Louisiana. He definitely gives the term Southern hospitality it's true meaning great guy. Definitely would recommend to friends.

“Great place for date night, got the Barcar burger with truffle waffles fries. It was delicious! The server Michael was extremely attentive! He even ran out of the restaurant to bring me something I had forgotten at the table! Would come back and definitely recommend others to try too!“

“Great spot, one of my absolute favorites in NOLA. Meghan is incredible and always takes good care of my group when I’m in! I also went for the first time on a Friday afternoon recently and found out that they make a special lemon garlic butter that they put on steaks and stuff, only available on Fridays. I ordered a tuna steak and they put that on there, oh my. Will definitely be back for lunch next time I’m in town.“

“Never had a bad experience at the spotlight. In fact the very first time I went in for lunch the server made a lasting impression on me with her hospitality skills and judging service to all. She continues to uphold her high standards of customer service. As recently as the past Monday, their red beans and rice lunch was flawless and delicious. Keep up the great work Kelly w/ a y!!“

“Under new management! I had the black n bacon blue cheese burger. Best seasoned burger I've had in a long time. Atmosphere is great and Rob (new owner) was a great host. Very friendly crowd.“

“Came to Stallion bar last Friday for a Karaoke night. Absolutely great location, the horseshoe-shaped bar, decorations, pool tables, drink selections (Long Drink) were all great. The wife had a tequila soda and even though I typically hate them, I didn't hate this one. Friendly, fun, and fixed my famish“

“I went there for Tuesday steak nite. Filet for $20 with baked pot, bread, and veg was surprisingly good and prepared. Kenny at the bar was a good waiter as well as a friendly bartender. Introduced himself and shook hands. An unexpededly nice and comfortable dining experience at a Veterans Blvd primarily bar.“

“I started going here due to a dart league I was engaged with. I like the ambiance, and the people there. They do have pool tables a shuffleboard table and four dart boards. I should guess when you arrive, is to, just have some fun... Drink prices are standard, and if you get hungry gio's Pizza is around the corner...“

“Applebee's has been around for a long time and have very good food. All their prices are practical and reasonable and they have sales quite often. The atmosphere is always good and employees always prompt to help serve you. There is no waiting for a seats and I still have the two for 20 but it's two for $25 now with happy hours I suggest it is a good place to go to eat easy location to get to a lot of parking“
