“Originally opened in 1928. We always look for the local none chain restaurants when we travel. This place is hands above any chain restaurant. Grits made with butter and water. Biscuits and gravy were great. Loved the local patrons. Reasonable prices! Staff was wonderful.“

“Miss Sarah and her staff are amazing. The atmosphere in Blessings Bible Bookstore is rare and unlike modern stores today. It was refreshing to find a store that carries such a wide variety of merchandise without having to order it online. If you visit at the right time, you will hear the beautiful melody of Miss Sarah singing throughout her store as she works. Precious and rare above rubies. I find myself wanting to go 2 hours away, just to browse and sense the peace found at Blessings Bible Book Store!“
“Met an old friend there for lunch there while traveling through Monroe and have to say this place is a hidden gem! I ordered the Steak Tacos and large Latin Coffee and both were absolutely fantastic! The tacos are some of the best I've every had, and I've had a lot of great ones living in Texas! Don't miss the Latin Coffee too, it is so good! Also, the owner was so kind to us! I'll definitely be stopping anytime I'm passing through Monroe! Highly recommend!“

I'm always coming through the drive thru super tired and it takes me a minute to get my order straight, the employee there is always super patient and repeats my order to make sure they got it right. Plus I never expect extra stuff but they always surprise me with an extra or two of donuts. I love and will always go there first!“
