We were welcomed by several friendly staff when we arrived. We started our meal with a delightful appetizer of crab-stuffed beignets. Stopped in for a quick dinner bite, straight from the airport, and was pleasantly surprised. Wasn't expecting much but the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was warm, and the food was delish! Gumbo - lots of seafood, good roux flavor, and not too much okra! We tried it on a whim. Disposable menus, limited selection. Our well meaning wait person had never tried the crab cakes and shrimp but I ordered them anyway. They were fried but were covered in Alfredo sauce! Tasty but nothing special. The "gulf shrimp" on the meal were tiny popcorn shrimp. A few, certainly less than a dozen.
