We stopped at Mel's on the way home to Florida, so we are not regular customers. (So definitely consider this a point in time review and may not be the experience every day.) Get the 5 Piece Dark, dirty rice and an Arnold Palmer. Chicken was lightly breaded, crisp, chicken was cooked when ordered. About as good as you can get. Rice had a light kick. $8.99. You will tell your Grandkids about this one.
