“This place feels like a family reunion! Everyone in town meets there to pick up dinner to go on Friday nights and the atmosphere feels like grandma's. The food has great flavor and big portions. Everything comes in a to go plate which worked out well for me, I had dinner, then lunch the next day. Friendly staff serves it up with a smile. This place is a must go if you're in town. The hours are quirky so check before you go!”

“Total revelation: first we stopped in a city we never thought we will, and that was brilliant. While choosing which bar to go to, we randomly entered this place and within 15 seconds we were already offered a round by a friendly local. The bartender was lovely and sweet and all guests were really welcoming.
The gentleman who treated us with a free refreshment also suggests us - out of nothing - to go to Stephensville as we looked like guys who would loved it up there. And boy we did!
Really grateful for the experience and everyone who passes the bridge over Morgan City, please turn down the highway and visit this bar, you won’t regret it.”

“When I pulled into the parking lot of East Gate BBQ, I was pleasantly surprised to see they have an actual smokehouse out back behind the restaurant. Their pulled pork is pretty spectacular as are the sides and service! I highly recommend East Gate BBQ!”

“First time eating here. Service was amazing and the food was good. Only thing I would recommend is that the worker stops swatting flies around food. He swatted at a fly then went to counter where sushi was being prepared to get the fly he killed. Ruined it for me!”

“The moment I walked in, I was greeted by someone behind the counter and right away they apologized for being a little sorry handed and that they would tend to me as soon as possible. Within just a few minutes I ordered and without delay my order was fixed as soon as I paid. I ordered a two piece meal with fries and a drink. The chicken was NOT greasy at all. The breading was crisp and tasty and the meat was moist and flavorful. Even the the fries were cooked just right and tasted good enough to eat without ketchup. I can't wait to return. I live 35 minutes away but I will travel the miles for chicken this good. Thank you for making my day.”

“Cute small-town restaurant with excellent service. The food came out quickly and the portions are good. Everything was okay, no worse and no better, but we didn't try the pastas or any seafood which I hear is what they are known best for. Will definitely return on occassion.”
