Cafe JoJo's in Morgan City is a must-visit spot with good food and good people, making it a highlight of any day. The restaurant, located across the street from the municipal docks, offers exceptional service and a kid-friendly atmosphere. While the restaurant has limited hours, the amazing food, especially the redfish dish, and drinks make it worth the visit. The Hurricane Martini is outstanding, and the blackened redfish with cream/wine sauce and seafood alfredo with a crab cake are delicious options. The ribeye steak was good but lacked seasoning, while the mashed potatoes needed more flavor. The pecan turtle cheesecake was a hit, but the lemon berry ricotta cake was a bit dry. Despite some minor issues, the quick and friendly service, along with the accommodating attitude towards guests, makes Cafe JoJo's a place worth returning to, even if without the dogs.
