We were in town for the Festival of Lights, and we were in the mood for pizza so we discovered a little place called Peggy's Homemade pizza. The environment was very homey and warm, the service was great, and the prices were very good. They even had a BLT pizza! It sounds strange, but it was a very delicious combination of fresh lettuce, tomatoe and bacon/ground meat. 1st use Door Dash for delivery not EZ Street delivery. I am from out of town and googled pizza near me, Peggy's was rated highest. I clicked order online placed the order. EZ Street Delivery got to Peggy's late to pick up my order. They have a tracking order text. Pizza was already picked up late, but tracker had it delivered by 8:07, then updated to 8:14, 8:37, 8:45. I love Peggy's Pizza. They're extremely generous with the toppings. A pepperoni pizza is completely covered edge to edge. The service good, but be prepared to wait a little for your food if you dine in. Door to door time is usually about an hour, but worth the wait! It's a small quiet place, but not cramped. Best pizza in town!
