“UPDATE: This owner cares about his business! He (the owner) personally came thru with a new order after my original review was posted. Fresh fried fish AND shrimp! The fresh fish was night and day to the original fish received. Flavor in seasoning was still there but could 100% tell it was fresh. Crisp and not chewy one bit. Shrimp was just as good! I’ve left my original review for transparency, but I would 100% try again. Shout out to Mike for defining what customer service should be! Thank You Mike!Ordered thru DoorDash just after 7. Ordered fried fish & shrimp, received fried fish only. Confirmed with restaurant that order was received correctly. They were willing to correct if I went to restaurant but I drive a semi and can’t pull up anywhere.Fish seasoning had good taste but it tasted old and chewy. Fried okra was ok. Yellow rice was dry and old.Also, you have to pay to get a side of cocktail sauce when ordering shrimp. Ridiculous when the shrimp doesn’t arrive with the meal.”

“I love Peggy's Pizza. They're extremely generous with the toppings. A pepperoni pizza is completely covered edge to edge. The service good, but be prepared to wait a little for your food if you dine in. Door to door time is usually about an hour, but worth the wait! It's a small quiet place, but not cramped. Best pizza in town!”

“From the outside you would not guess how excellent the food is here and the service I'm not kidding.When I walked in the atmosphere was excellent very very authentic Mexican.I highly highly recommend El Patio. They were busy but the service was excellent.Now, I'm from Vegas and there's an excellent Mexican restaurant there (Juan's Flaming Fajita) El Patio is right up there with the restaurant in Vegas. Excellent food and enough for two you could easily split a dish.This is now my favorite restaurant in all of Natchitoches Louisiana area.Excellent job you guys keep it up.,???”

“We visited Mayeaux's yesterday after visiting the alligator park. We went in the middle of the afternoon so there was immediate seating. The service was prompt, the food was amazing and everything was as promised. I can say that if we are ever in the area, we would go back.”

“The new staple of Natchitoches Parish and the state of Louisiana for BBQ. With an offering of conventional bbq as well as additional entrees that put a twist on bbq. There’s no other way around it, Sweetie has bbq dialed in. PERIOD.”

“What amazing people and fantastic food. I’m not a huge gumbo eater however this was absolutely a 10 out of 10. The best we’ve ever had. Smoked sausage awesome, candied yams yummy. Pintos and rice big chunks of ham. Just wow. And their price is incredible.”

“This was my first visit to La Casa Del Taco and it most certainly won't be the last. I ordered tacos al pastor and they were some of the best tacos I've ever had. Staff was friendly and service was fast. I'll definitely be back with my husband soon!”

“We dropped in late to Nakatosh Deli and pub to grab a muffuletta for dinner. The venue is small with limited dining and bar space.We ordered our Muffaletta's and a couple of Yuenglings. They did not have Yuengling on tap, but they did serve frosted mugs. The Muffuletta's were excellent. They came with a bag of chips. I told Jan that this is a better muffuletta than the ones we had at Central Grocery in NOLA last spring.The restaurant was not busy. There was one other group dining. We were happy diners. Just a good sandwich with good service. The prices were moderate.”

“We had the Cajun Potato today and it's definitely a 5 star dish. They put a large amount of crawfish étouffée on top of your baked potato and then place a large fried shrimp on top of that! You can order a second fried shirt if you like! Excellent! The server was very nice and attentive also! This is also one of the few restaurants in the area that has a restroom for their guest. This is a plus, especially for families with kids.”

“What a neat place with lots of history and great food. Perfect for a Northwestern State University student. Food prices reasonable but does not take anything way from the food. It was delicious.”

“We stopped in for an appetizer and drinks on the deck overlooking the river. The onion rings were perfectly fried and delicious. Great remoulade sauce, too. Our waitress was fast, polite and friendly.”
