Great food, friendly service. I had the catfish Poboy, my go-to at most southern restaurants. It had plenty of fish and the right amount of condiments. The sweet potato fries were awesome as well. We will definitely be returning to T-Johnnys!

We used to enjoy this spot, but the last time we went the food was not fresh. We got the shrimp plate with their sassy sauce on the side, and thank god for the sauce on the side. I think they mixed Tony’s seasoning & butter together and called it a sauce, and it was pure salt. Not good at all. We had to melt our own butter and dilute the sassy sauce down to enjoy it at all. Also, the shrimp is pre-cooked and stored in a cooler with the potato and corn, and so once we got our serving, the shrimp was over cooked and everything tasted the same. We also got boudin balls, and we get boudin balls everywhere they sell them in town, and these boudin balls are by far the worst we have had. Very mushy and tasted old like they had been sitting in the hot case for hours. It didn’t look like there was any rice inside the boudin at all, just looked like stuffing/breading. If you’re interested in good boudin balls hit the Chevron or French Market by the highway. A lot fresher and filled with deliciousness. Maybe we went here on a slow day, but I think it’s important to cook things fresh no matter what day it is and what the customer traffic looks like. We love you guys, please freshen the food up!

Holy cow!Everything is delicious here.The frog legs were pretty small but delicious.We tried a bit of everything.Crawfish sauce is on point!We tried alligator, frog legs, filé gumbo.Having grown up in South Louisiana, I have a very discerning pallet when it comes to Cajun food.I can't believe this was found in Central Louisiana!I can't wait to come back.

Stopped by at lunch for the burnt ends plate ($19.99). The burnt ends were not even edible. VERY tough and chewy. Just seemed liked they were days old and just dried out. I know the chef/cook putting this together had to of known they were bad. The potato salad and beans were good. I will probably move on from this place for a while. Will see ya when crawfish season is back.

We stopped in for lunch on Friday afternoon. We knew about the place from a good friend and wanted to try it while in town. Suffice to say, sure glad we did! Excellent, fast, very friendly service. The food was impeccable. Delicious with beautiful presentation and healthy portions. By the way, they also know how to spill a great cocktail. Definitely, check this place out if you're in the area.

Birthday Dinner gone bad. If You Crave Rotten Catfish, then this is the place for you! Presentation made you suspect from the beginning. Never seen anything like it. It looked disappointing but looks were deceiving. It was worse than it looked. Not cheap either. Can’t get much worse than this.

I buy my crawfish from T Johnny every time I want crawfish. He only sells what he tells you and he never disappoints. I buy boiled or live. I also buy the select from him also. I highly recommend to give him a try if you haven’t already. Also his restaurant is a 5 ⭐️ also.
