We used to enjoy this spot, but the last time we went the food was not fresh. We got the shrimp plate with their sassy sauce on the side, and thank god for the sauce on the side. I think they mixed Tony’s seasoning & butter together and called it a sauce, and it was pure salt. Not good at all. We had to melt our own butter and dilute the sassy sauce down to enjoy it at all. Holy cow!Everything is delicious here.The frog legs were pretty small but delicious.We tried a bit of everything.Crawfish sauce is on point!We tried alligator, frog legs, filé gumbo.Having grown up in South Louisiana, I have a very discerning pallet when it comes to Cajun food.I can't believe this was found in Central Louisiana!I can't wait to come back.

Great food, friendly service. I had the catfish Poboy, my go-to at most southern restaurants. It had plenty of fish and the right amount of condiments. The sweet potato fries were awesome as well. We will definitely be returning to T-Johnnys!
