$18 for a double Makers Mark and coke?! That's the most I've ever paid for a drink before!! Friendly bartenders and delicious waffle with fresh berries and high-quality syrup, but still can't get over an $18 bourbon and coke.
Limited breakfast menu. Quite expensive, considering that there are much more reasonably priced options nearby. I was a bit surprised that grits is not offered, though the breakfast potatoes were quite good. I prefer sausage to bacon, but the standard breakfast comes with bacon. Service was good and the ambience is nice. The tables are too high for some of the seating; more suitable for a lounge than for breakfast. Babin’s does serve dinner and also doubles as a lounge.
Tommy, the bartender makes this bar located in the Hotel Indigo extra special. His cocktails are top notched and perfectly balanced. Before heading to dinner, my team all came downstairs from our room to have a drink. One of the best lemon drop martinis I've ever had. He put this whiskey infused cherry in mine that took it over the top. Like I said, perfectly balanced as it was not too sweet not too sour.
