I have an issue. This place has always been great vibes, but today she told us because we aren’t tipping we can’t be served. Legally you cannot refused service because you are not getting a tip. Tips are not mandatory, so they were already in the wrong. Also, We are from Texas, we cash tip. Because when you a CASH tip in Texas it goes straight to the bartender. Nicole the manager seem to only make excuses during this Discriminatory moment. The bartender Lilly told us because we didn’t tip she can no longer serve us. I would never go this place again. This was theworst experience ever and such a huge disappointment. Also the bartender Britany or Moana she poured my drink out because she didn’t want to “deal with the situation” I have never felt so unwanted in my life. This is terrible and will never be back again.Also if you read the manager reply, this just show they don’t care about the people who spent money there. Not to mention they just said if you don’t tip they don’t serve you. She also said I bought 3 rounds a drink and I only bought one round of white tea shots, and a beer. Mind you was were sitting at the bar when she told us she could no longer serve us because we don’t tip. Which was assuming because we didn’t tip on the card. Mind you we were going to give her a cash tip. Again the response was very unprofessional. I was not rude at all and kept an open mind with both the manager and employees and their respone was very tasteless.

Hello! My husband and I heard great things about this establishment so we came to check this spot out.Soon after sitting out the patio beer tap bar, the bartender quickly came up to us and gave us fantastic recommendations on local beers based from asking us what we normally drink. Crawfish boil ($19 for almost 3 pounds STEAL) was fantastic. As we were eating out crawfish there was an altercation over a tipping situation next to us with the same bartender who served us, Rose, I think? The bartenders handled it very fairly and professionally and seemed to have grabbed management when it was needed. They even went to the point of apologizing to the customer when there was no apology due while still insanely busy. GOOD ON YOU! It’s nice to see that kind customer oriented mentality still around. Restrooms were clean, food was great, live music was fantastic!! Establishment deserved more than 5 starts. All around will be back again!!
I witnessed the workers harass and discriminate against my friends. Mind you everyone purchased food and drinks from this below average, overly hyped place. Some lady was mad because EMPTY cups were brought into the establishment. After proving there was nothing in the cups, my friends purchased at least 3 rounds of drinks. The same worker that harassed us before refused to serve them more drinks because she assumed didn’t/wasn't going to tip. We had an open tab where we are from you tip at the end when you pay for the bill. Tacky, unprofessional, and rude! This is a tourist city where people walk around with souvenir cups all the time. I felt unwanted there and will not come back. Trash service, trash workers, the owners is trash and lacks accountability, the bartenders were unprofessional and greedy. Tips are optional not required. You shouldn’t refuse service because you weren’t tip. That’s terrible.

WARNING. Discriminatory practices at this establishment. We were refused services today. I must note that our group was entirely African American. We were told we would no longer be served after 1 round of shots because no tip was left when the tab was still open and we were still at the bar. Nothing about our behavior was unruly. We were simply in town trying to have a good time at an establishment we’ve visited for years now. Never in my adult years have I been treated this way. If you’re a person of color I might pass and spend your money elsewhere.

This establishment is very discriminatory. She told us that she would not serve us because of no tip. When I was tipping in cash. This was a terrible experience. The manager Nicole made only excuses for her associates actions. I have never heard of “because you don’t tip on the card you don’t get serviced”. Mind you Brit didn’t tell any other customer that didn’t tip on the card that wouldn’t get serviced. Biggest inconvenience of my life. Would not come back.

Great spot It's huge!!! Food is terrible for the price Like very bad - Go for the drinks and atmosphere and skip the food It's not the staff cooking either- It's the product and such! The staff is amazing

the service is horrible the manager he is very rude and disrespectful I would not recommend this place at all to nobody. i waited almost an hour for some dip and then asked for it to go it was two chips worth then they had an attitude when i addressed them about it

Was wandering the city after a visit to City Park and found myself in Bayou St. John, then walking by this place. Popped in for a couple and it was cool as hell in there. Friendly bartender, good vibes. When I walked in I was patron #3, but within an hour there was about 20 people. Think they had crawfish. Good vibe all around the whole time.
