You stand outside to wait for a table and that was unattended for a while. We were finally seated and placed our order. It took a little longer than expected. I think they missed ours but when it finally came it was hot and yummy.

After getting seated and waiting over 15 min with no one talking to us, we started to get up to leave, finally someone came to take our orders (Mind you they were not busy). They came back with drinks. Awhile later gumbo, then later side salads. 30 min later no food... no server. Eventually as I was beyond anxious a manager asked how things were, I said would be great to get food. 10 min later the server hands us our bill!! I asked if we were being charged for food we never got. He was confused. Really?! 15 min later finally got meh food. This place was the worst service I have had. Only good thing was the gumbo.

We stopped in here midday for a couple of apps and drinks. Everything is very good and we were thrilled to be able to enjoy drinks from their special locally sourced drink menu.It was our waiters first day. He did a great job. I hope he sticks around.

This was our first restaurant experience in NOLA. A bit intimidating and over stimulating at first, but the wait staff put you at ease with their calmness and friendly demeanor.I immediately ordered a drink and the top 3 things I came for. I was not disappointed one ounce. We enjoyed our meals and drinks and hung out for a few to look around at the walls and people watch while we finished up. This was recommended by our hotel and we got here just in time to see a line form down the street as it seems to be a favorite with tourists and locals alike.Stop in for a meal or a drink. Money well spent.

We came about 30 minutes before closing. The hostess was indifferent,no greeting.Waitress was nice enough, didn’t offer anything to drink or check in at all. The food was ok. The atmosphere felt dirty. The hostess had gloves on rolled up a dirty mat started working again without putting new gloves on. When leaving were heard a waitress scolding the hostess for seating people before closing time.

Dirty doesn’t even describe this place. The staff couldn’t care less. Sangria was undrinkable and the food was mediocre at best. Sorry we wasted time and money in this place.
We had extremely friendly service and amazing food at Cafe Maspero. There is open air seating and a very diverse menu that specializes in New Orleans favorites. The waitress went out of her way to ensure I had something to eat that fit my dietary restrictions.Would definitely return perfect place for an afternoon lunch

If you go, I hope you get to sit at Ashley’s table. Ashley served our table in the middle of French Quarter Fest. They were busy, but you would not have known it. She was patient, friendly, and attentive. She even came to check with us about food allergies at our table. Thank you Ashley!

Nothing special for food, and way too expensive for what you get. Also, service was terrible- our waitress could not have been more dismissive. We had to ask for flatware and more cream and my the time we got it our coffee was cold.
