Charming cocktail bar and restaurant in a beautiful neighborhood. A welcome oasis on a day of exploration. Cocktails and other libations served in a historical setting, and daily happy hours. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The Brunch is fantastic. The fact that the setting is in an old NOLA home makes a great dinning experience.

Everything was excellent. The space was beautiful. The staff was so nice and attentive. The food was transcendental. We had the seared pork belly—it melted in your mouth. The yaka mein—a phenomenon I will never stop raving about. The peaches & dream for dessert—an actual, real dream. The cocktails were fantastic as well, for obvious reasons I recommend the Double Impeachment, and the Calyxo was spicy and refreshing. Shoutout to Paul, our server, for his great work!

The Calamari was amazing and so was the J*** Shrimp. This is a small romantic gem with outdoor seating.

I walk into a little rustic wooden home with a fairly small yard, could be a little intimidating because from outside it's so quiet and i went in the afternoon for lunch. I would be a little romantic cottage if i go at night, i remember thinking at the time. I walk in the wooden stairs opening the not so solid wooden door in my green Alo yoga pants hoping i dont need a reservation for a table. Inside is totally quaint looking bar with a hint of of leather chairs and leathery and somehow it smells subtley of money , i make a quick scan of juxtapost of few people in there that looks like either they are going to yatch club , with collared polos blue khakis pants and espadrilles along with their wives sipping sparkling wines , in a corner looks like working professionals on lunch meetings closing deals. Still smells like money. The ambience is mostly smart casuals, quiet and classy i was fooled to think it's likely a french restaurant but the menu came and the food and restaurant theme is Italian with the taste of local cuisine. Surprise surprise. They offered a culinary 3 courses of meals for 45 but i decided that im kot on a date and ask for Hush Puppies as i want to try local cuisine. The waiter explain that they dont have Hush Puppies and recommend me something close to it with corn balls and shrimp and a glass of prosecco of course. The amount of food and the taste is pretty generous, im pretty happy with the place and the service overall! Disclaimer : I might be a little biased in my review as place with prosecco always trigger the dopamine hormone in me

The experience was amazing. For cocktails we had: The Double Impeachment, The La Salle’s Miscalculations, Pull The Level, and the Calyxo Cocktail. They were AMAZING. Best drinks I had the entire trip in New Orleans. The Calyxo Cocktail was my favorite. Three of us got the preset dinner for $45. Such a great deal. We tried the Chili Crab Lettuce Wraps (amazing) and the Fried Calamari. We all three chose the Tempranillo Red Wine. Delish. And for the entré we all chose the Seared Pork Belly. This dish was super delicious but also is so fatty that I really believe it needs citrus or more kimchi or a floral or something to lighten it up. Otherwise it was perfect. The one other person with us had the Cavan Burger with fries. I love the ambiance. The staff was very attentive. I never saw the bottom of my water glass they were so on top of it. And THOSE CHANDELIERS.

I love this place. We sat outside and the hostess immediately greeted us with a smile. We didn't get drinks but I will have to come back because the cocktail menu looked amazing! Our waitress was great and answered all our questions. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and a salad- both were fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The outdoor seating is charming and its fun to people watch on magazine st. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, delicious dinner.

As Part of our road trip we had dinner with our kids. It was our wedding anniversary. Food was good, service good, neighbourhood was nice, it isn’t in the Center and a long walk, if you decide not to driver there. Nice abr with a good whisky selection.

Cavan was great. It was my first time last night. I had taken on the responsibility of setting up a birthday dinner for about 25 people at this restaurant. I'm mentioning that because I took a star away for the semantics and nuances involved in all of that. Now that that's been said, in regard to the establishment. The actual venue was so cute. We have the whole upstairs dining room / bar to ourselves and everything was a vibe. The whole aesthetic was just cuter than I imagined it could be. I have brought some birthday decorations and added to it and it just made me so happy. The service was great especially considering how many of us they were catering to. My favorite part of the experience was having the cocktail menu feature the name of my birthday boy in the title of their signature cocktails. The food was absolutely excellent! We were able to try several different dishes which unfortunately I didn't get pictures of but on the table we had the marinated olives the chickpeas and the fish dip. For the appetizers we had an amazing absolutely delicious chicken caesar salad and some other kind of salad that was good but not as memorable as well as grilled octopus on butter beans... Entries were flounder almondine, pork loin and scallops. PHENOMENAL. The cocktails were great too. After everything was said and done I was quite happy!Shout out to Jess and Katie for going above and beyond!

Wonderful little place with fantastic drinks and food, service was outstanding. Prices for food were a bit high but very worth it. The drink prices were very high but they didn't skimp and the punch was extremely well made.

Best Shrimp and Grits I ever have eaten. In a very cool, old Southern Masion. Everything NOLA is in food and architecture. Friendly staff as well.

Absolutely loved our brunch experience here on a Saturday morning. We started off with 2 cups of hot black coffee to wake up then shared avocado toast. Then I got the egg salad sandwich (egg salad was a bit dry for my taste but flavor was perfect) and my husband got the shrimp and grits which was PERFECT! The sauce really made the dish. Then we finished off with the s'mores dessert and lemon blueberry dessert. The ambiance was wonderful too!! Between the decor and the food, this place definitely makes my top 10 places to go in New Orleans!
