Our party of four sampled the happy hour and small Plate menu, the food, drinks and service were exactly what you would expect from an award winning bar

Came by here one night randomly for some drinks. Love the look of the place, has such a fun vibe. Enjoyed a few cocktails, an old fashioned, mai tai, and the prize fighter. As a home-tender, I appreciate a good cocktail done right. I will say they're a bit pricey so I recommend their happy hour. We were greeted immediately and seated, waiter was nice and attentive to us. Definitely a place I will revisit to try out more of their menu.

The last three times I've been here - "sorry, we are sold out. No room". I get it but most establishments offer a wait period. Not Cure! Good luck ever getting seated here or accommodated. Make a reservation way in advance if you have to. Not worth the hassle. Many other establishments in the area.

Great drinks, Amazing atmosphere, fantastic food! I love coming here and come multiple times a year. The service is amazing, and the servers are always so nice, the food has such complex flavors that can satisfy any palate. And the mixologists and bartenders behind the bar are gifted. The atmosphereboth calm and intriguing at the same time and the have indoor and outdoor seating!

Sat at bar not crowded. First round no problem. Good not exceptional. Then sat with empty glass for 15 minutes while four bartenders sat with backs to us. Had to walk to other end of bar to close our tab and big surprise 20% tip is included. Explains a lot!

Worst service! Hostess very unprofessional. Come here often and never had experienced this service. Will revisit since Its not business fault but this hostess needs to go.

The service was awful. The female waitress was nothing but rude and disinterested. We were planning on tipping accordingly (15%) because of how bad it was but service fee is already included in the bill at 20%. No wonder she didn't care about our table. Very disappointed

Cure has become our favorite "special" bar. We know we're going to spend more money here than at "the corner bar", and we know that on a busy night, we may not get in without reservations. But, we've only been turned away once, and the other times, we've been blown away. You hear the word "craft" a lot with cocktails. Well, this place defines that. And the folks behind the bar are true craft people that clearly enjoy what they do. Even when they're busy, the staff is very engaging and friendly. I usually order one of their specialty drinks, and my GF always asks for them to makes something up for her with a few guidelines. And we always, each time, enjoy every sip of these amazing drinks. Last night, I had the two best Sazeracs I've every had. My GF also ordered some food - sorry, I didn't catch what it was called - maybe mushroom toast(?). Amazing. We had just come from what was supposed to be a fine-dining meal elsewhere and wished that that food was as good as this. Anyhow, when we're out for a special night, we always end up at Cure.

What a fabulous place to stumble upon! we were staying in the neighborhood and went in for drinks one eve. Everything we tried was excellent and unique. we were curious about the deviled eggs but had already eaten dinner, so we ordered some to go. Made a great breakfast the next day. We want to stay in the Freret neighborhood again so we can enjoy all the great establishments again.

New Orleans is not New York, but if you want to pretend like you're in the Big Apple - with pretentious hostesses and overpriced drinks - then this place is for you. I've been twice. Neither time was crowded. Both times I was greeted by an under enthusiastic hostess who told me I was "allowed to stand at the bar" but couldn't sit down because I didn't have reservations. It was midweek and the place was basically empty. I was foolish enough to stay both times. The snacks were fine and the drinks were good (although very small and served in dirty glasses), but service was very slow, everything was overpriced, and the staff unbearably pretentious. There are too many amazing restaurants and bars in this town to waste another penny here.
