Love Hana Sushi, but their service is always subpar. Just tried going for the food, after standing awkwardly in the lobby for 30 minutes, I was not acknowledged or greeted by staff until someone came out to yell at the crowd that there was no more rice. This is not the first time I have tried dining in and experienced similar events. Save yourself the hassle and order to-go.

Place is usually jumping and there's a good reason. Huge menu but they maintain high quality. If you want high end sashimi or some funky rolls they have you covered. Great spot.

There was definitely a communication barrier with the waitress. The management was respectful and fixed the issue. Probably would go back in the future, but would request a different waiter or waitress.

Sushi is always good miso and clear soup were not good this time. service was not the best..Waitress didn't come back to table after giving menus untill another had to take our order. But was taking care of customers who came in after us. I hadn't been here in 3 years. Won't be back for a while.

Since 2003 I've patronize Hana with family and friends because of the atmosphere was positive and welcoming. Tonight, 12-28-2023, I received the worst customer service from this establishment.1st, I was greated like she didn't want to seat me where I requested which was the bar. So I was given a table and was by myself and I was rushed in ordering my entree. When I requested for a refill I never received it. The only thing I received was the check in which I paid. The food was on point but service towards me was terrible. I can understand if I had a sarcastic personality with the staff but I always enjoyed talking to the sushi chef to learn the traditional style of the cuisine. I know that this a family based restaurant in which family is hired so I'm not looking for any disciplinary actions, but I should have been treated with respect and I wasn't. Just to let you know that I was the only black person in the restaurant.
My favorite for sushi in the area. Have to try the seafood bake. So delicious. All there rolls have been very good. They have a great selection to choose from.
Service is slooooooowwwwwwwe, even if the place is empty. The sushi is fresh, but the man making it was just shaping it with his bare hands then wiping his face which kind of grossed us all out. If you ask for a napkins they'll only bring you one. We asked twice. We got two. We drive in for sushi here about once a year; it hasn't been updated in the 20 years we've gone. The interior is really dilapidated. Sushi is always nice though. If you want a nice atmosphere then go somewhere else. If you just want pretty good sushi then give this a try,

I have been coming here specifically for their noodle salad for more than half my life and intend on eating it until I die. Long live Hana and long live Hana Noodle

Just left this place. It took 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that I was standing there when I walked into the restaurant. The staff kept walking by me and not making eye contact. Whatever, we finally are seated. Then we're eating and I find a ~5inch strip of plastic in my sushi. I almost choked on it and had to pull it out of my mouth. I tell the waitress and the chef comes out. He's immediately rude-- I say "I found this piece of plastic in my food and almost choked on it" and he said "but you didn't" excuse me, what the hell? He continued being dismissive and kept acting confused when I said I didn't want to pay for that one roll. Finally got the roll comped after arguing with him. Took awhile to pay, as the staff ignored us for a good 15 minutes after that happened. Sushi was mediocre as well, will not be returning.
