Authentic flavors. I had the flounder and the Spanish garlic shrimp. These were by far the best Salvadorian cuisine I ever sampled , not to mention a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Definitely worth the wait time before the food is served to you!Kid-friendliness: Waiter/owner was very friendly
This restaurant is absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and the portions are generous. I live in Northern Virginia where we have tons of Salvatorean restaurants so I have tried lots of different dishes. La Macarena's food is by far the best Salvadorean food I've ever tasted. The food here is unmatched, truly a gem. Service is always great as well. I normally get the Central American breakfast, which is great if you don't know what you want. Bring cash and it's worth the special trip. I've been eating here for 10+ years and it is always great.
