A superb evening at the Creole Cookery. Our waitress, Maria, was perfect, very welcoming and attentive. A very good jambalaya and an even better dessert on a very pleasant terrace!

The food was ok. Gator was sausage. We were informed it was a mix. It tasted like only sausage. Jambalaya was ok. Shrimp and grits were flavorful. Our server was fantastic!

Beautiful restaurant in New Orleans, the atmosphere feels classic and intimate. Came here with a large party the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Food and drinks were beyond amazing. The pecan crusted red fish is the best thing I've ever had and I don't even like fish!! Cannot recommend more.

The food was fantastic. The red beans and rice were the best I’ve ever had. The bread pudding was amazing… the best in New Orleans.The server had no clue what he was doing. Took forever for him to greet us, walked by us 3 times and just looked at us. He didn’t know the menu at all and couldn’t answer any of our questions. My wife ordered medallions steak.. was extremely over cooked but she said they still had a great taste. Overall a great place but the service really affected our experience.

We ended up here on accident and it was the best ever! Our server Kevin was awesome! The food was great and I love the little outside area.
We went here for my 21st birthday. We thought it was going to be a great experience. My party was all previous servers/bartenders. We understand sometimes you get busy but to not even be acknowledged after getting our drink order and not seeing them for 15-20 minutes is a bit insane, without an apology or explanation. As well as ignoring one of our guests and not putting in a drink order until 30 minutes after everyone else. As we work in the restaurant industry, we are very understanding but most of our food was cool/cold when reaching us. For what was supposed to be a celebration and big milestone turing 21, dinner was dreadful and we were ready to leave. We then had to split up our own bill by how much to run the cards which is wild. Most cases we over tip, but 20% was not deserved when we only saw the waitress 3 times. Drink… food drop off… check!

Will definitely be coming back next time I’m visiting nola! The firecracker shrimp was good, but the real stars of the show were the pastas & cheesecake! My friend & i got the 2 different pastas & we both LOVED both of them! Also LOVED the bananas foster cheesecake! Honestly this is the best restaurant we ate at during this stay in nola! Our waitress was super friendly & efficient too! We just wish we had gotten another slice of cheesecake to go - that’s how good it is!

OH. MY. GOD. hands down the best food i’ve had in new orleans! for our entree, we had the firecracker shrimp that was delicious. my friend and i both had pasta and our mouths were watering from how good it was! i highly recommend coming here!

It's terribly loud indoors, but glad not to be rained on in the courtyard. The shrimp Creole is definitely too strong of tomato paste. Filet medallions were overdone and the crab legs had zero flavor.
