BEWARE ‼‼ this security guard forces himself in the bathroom while women are using it ! a friend & i were at this place celebrating mardi gras and needed to go use the bathroom. the women's bathroom was occupied by another patron who was intoxicated and unable to move so there's were women using the men's bathroom in the interim as we were not able to use the other one at the time and there were no males inside. once the woman in front of us finished in the men's room we entered and we were in there for maybe 2-3 minutes before the security tried to enter. he first tried to push open the bathroom door (with a cup full of liquor in his hand might i add), and i immediately closed back the door and explained that there were two women in here, one actively using the bathroom, and we would be out in a second. he proceeds to try and push the door open again as i am standing there trying to keep it closed once again repeating there is a woman using the bathroom and to please wait for us to get out. in what i can only call a drunken rage this so called security decided that the best path forward would be to place his drink down and literally kick down the door open after being told twice that a woman is using the bathroom and this was not the time to come inside. my friend scurried to pull her underwear up as to not be further exposed. as he is forcing his way into the bathroom i scream i just told you give us a second and he says "dnt f**cking tell me what to do i work here" . immediately after we went to go report the incident to another coworker who was extremely empathetic , kind and understood that what happened was wrong. this is completely unacceptable behavior (unlike anything i've ever experienced) and to any women wanting to go out and feel safe, this may not be the place to visit.

This was my first time in New Orleans and this place caught my attention because of the good music and bumping sound system and I spent almost 4 hours here. To be honest, there wasn't really too much of a crowd here at any time, and the drinks are a bit pricey, but I stayed that long for one reason... Devin, the bartender. No matter what, he's gonna make sure you have a good time. The only reason I give this place 5 stars is because of how incredible his service was.
