Walk the extra feet to Cafe du Monde. Which is clean, quicker and cheaper. We had to sit at a dirty church able. It was disgusting.

There was a piano playing itself, beautiful lights, and FRESH beignets with a short wait time! The staff isn't super friendly but they are definitely not rude like some of the other places we tried for beignets on our trip. If we are ever back in New Orleans again, this is the place we will go!

Need to hire someone happy for the cash register. People come to NOLA for vacation...and in doing such...they are spending money. Their beignets are average...I think fried a little too much.

Go here if you love iced coffee and good beignets. Big open doors, friendly staff, lots of light, easy ordering system and live music also make this a must-visit spot.

Came in for a late breakfast / early lunch, shared a muffaletta and had beignets and coffee. The beignets were pretty good, coffee was OK and the muffaletta not the best, but everything was OK for a quick stop and the queue wasn't too bad!

We were at Cafe Du Monde yesterday and were terribly disappointed. The beignets at this restaurant came out hot, soft and delicious. This is our early morning go to place in New Orleans from this day forward. This is a very clean restaurant and besides beignets and great coffee the serve a full breakfast menu. They are also open all day for lunch and snacks with a full bar.

We had initially planned on enjoying a beignet (my first) at Cafe Du Monde, but the line was outrageous. We took a Lyft and the driver ( a long time Nola resident) said that he preferred Cafe Beignet over Cafe Du Monde. They were so good!

Such a cute place to grab food, especially beignets! It’s central in the French Quarter and close to Jackson’s Square. There is a self-playing piano! You can people watch with the large open doors to the sidewalk. I ordered the Belgian waffle, which was very fluffy and yummy. The beignets were good. My sister ordered the Jambalaya, but it wasn’t very good. But that’s not what you go to Cafe Beignet for, so still 5 stars!

Daughter tans wife said it better than Cafe De Monde, I didn’t eat one either place since I don’t know about which place is better

Extremely disappointed. $11 for a tiny bowl of food and like a 1/4 piece of bread served in flimsy plastic bowlsThe small drink with 90% ice (maybe 8oz was soda)for $3.19. Tables were dirty and the employee got irritated when we asked for forks(plastic) GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Cool place, luckily the time of day meant no queues to get in. Don’t try first thing in a morning queues are down the street. Food looked delicious

We enjoyed the Beignets and a Turkey Sandwich on a jammed-packed Jazz Festival morning. Although the wait was a little long, we realize the staff was doing all they could to keep up, and they still delivered hot beignets and a tasty sandwich.

Fast food on plastic plates. A place to try beignets and also get eggs. Nothing special. Big line but shorter than Cafe du Monde and offers egg dishes.

Been going to CDM for beignets all my life. Visiting NO last Monday, and the lines there at the Market were an hour long. Just had a friend who went to CDM the week before, and she was disappointed. Decided to try Cafe Beignet, and found this location about a 10 minute walk away. Line of about 3 people, nice staff, who took the time to explain the coffees, etc to newcomers in line. I got an order of beignets, and sat down to people watch, under one of the ceiling fans inside. The a/c was minimal, but it was still comfortable inside. Took about 20 minutes for them to be delivered to my table, and SO Well Worth the Wait! They were large, fluffy, and too hot to touch, as they had just been cooked. Best beignets ever! Live music most days , after 2pm, too Go grab some at one of the CB locations all over New Orleans. They also have other food, some of it savory. They are a Don't Miss, here!

I am a fan of sweet treats and everything Food Network. This location is perfect for tourists exploring the French Quarter. The staff is sweet, the treats are divine, and it's right across from Jackson Square.
