“I came here because I pass it all the time and go to the same place for my shawarma. I decided to stop in and it was the best decision I could’ve made. The customer service and food was absolutely stellar. The original garlic based white sauce with the shawarma is amazing, and the shrimp pasta I got was also amazing. Let’s please keep this place booked and busy because they deserve it!!!“
“I highly recommend, this amazing place! Food is so delicious and fresh, I could eat here everyday. The Chef and staff, are very friendly. It’s very clean, and inexpensive. Everything is great, from the authentic Lebanese food to the Burgers and desserts. Whether it’s takeout, or relaxing and Dinning inside. “I cannot tell you how absolutely pleased I was with my order tonight. I haven’t had Butter Chicken this delicious in years and over many states. It tastes so similar to the dish I used to get when I was living overseas. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been searching since 2016.Tzatziki is always a must. The baklava? Absolutely stunning. It has to be my favorite I have had to date. Reminds me of my local Mediterranean restaurant I frequented as a kid. The fried cheese was delicious. We also got the shawarma fries and plate.None of this review is over exaggerated. I am quite particular when it comes to food. So thank you for being my new favorite!“
“I finally made it back to Serop's after years. I suppose it's just not in the most convenient location in proximity to where I live. Nevertheless, I'd been seeing someone post delicious-looking dishes on social media and so I went back. The interior of the restaurant has not changed, possibly ever. This is not a bad thing, in fact, it's quite comfortable. The service was attentive and the food came out quickly. Now, for the food. I liked the salad. It's a great tangy dressing. I like good salad that isn't overly complicated. As someone who isn't a fan of tomatoes, I liked that it only had a tomato wedge and not chopped up tomatoes that I had to pick out. It was also a really good size salad. The chicken shawarma had good flavor, but it was a bit dry. The rice pilaf was standard fare. I LOVED the flavor and texture of the hummus. The pita was thin which was different. Next time I go, I will definitely get the hummus again and hope to try one of their special dishes.“
“I love being able to see the food that is already hot and ready, pick what I want and eat right away. The portions are generous and Lebanese tea is sublime. They're always clean and staff is friendly. I highly recommend the potato and eggplant parmesan and the mujadara (lentils and wheat).“
“Nearly all of it was very solid. I got the pita with lamb/chicken, rice, salad. The lamb and chicken were very well seasoned and strongly charred, loved it. Hummus was extremely smooth and the pita wasn’t bad as well. But the salad was just mixed green, cheese and dressing. Wish it wasn’t included or replaced with something else. Overall amazing food though, loved it and will eat there again.“
“Most authentic Greek food in Baton Rouge. I haven't ever been to Greece, and I've only been to a couple Greek restaurants in BR, but I have a gut feeling that I'm right. Which is where Roman's amazing food is. In my gut. With my love for this restaurant. Also their pita is so fresh you could get 3rd degree burns on it. Absolutely great experience.“
“Great locally owned family owned business. Authentic middle eastern food. They do to go orders and dine in. Fresh plenty of flavor and healthy. Unlike most food us Americans eat, it has all the things we enjoy about eating along with actual nutrition.“
“Food was delicious and the price was fair, but an option to order online, without raised prices, would have been nice. Also, if a customer in drive-thru has to sign their receipt, please don't walk away, leaving them stuck in your drive-thru waiting for you to come back to grab the signed receipt.“
“This place is a must try if you need something quick, easy, and healthy! The chicken is always seasoned to perfection and the gyro has the perfect umami taste. I always pile everything in the plate with a big scoop of hummus and some Grecian sauce in a pita - best bite of food ever! Definitely have to try their Lebanese tea too. The service is fast and friendly, especially from the owner. I eat here often and will definitely be back plenty.“
“The food is good and fixed really fast, barely a wait. Wait staff is always attentive and polite.Vegetarian options: Why would you be vegetarian when there are places like this?Parking: Limited up front, but a big parking lot right at the end of the buildingKid-friendliness: It's kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to maneuver“
“First time coming and the food is good. My only issue is that when I asked do they have vegan/plant based options the guy did not know what I was talking about. He then started talking about the types of meat selections they had. Which means I had to question the ingredients in everything I wanted to eat. I got the green beans in tomato sauce, egg plant in lemon juice with parsley and the lentils with wheat.“
“This is a place I'll definitely revisit if I'm ever back in the area. I was looking for something that wasn't too heavy on the stomach, and I was accompanied by a vegetarian. Most places in the area didn't have very many vegetarian options, so this was the winner. The food was seriously so balanced. The portions were huge, and every single thing I had was delicious. (Kabobs, hummus, salad, rice) There was a depth to the flavor of the food that I'll crave until I return. I'm so glad we ended up eating here.“
“To start with, the prompt and attentive service actually couldn't have been better. That is what really stood out.The hummus and pita plate was excellent. In fact, the pita bread with other dishes was outstanding. The fried cheese in olive oil and stuff was unique and really quite good. I had the gyro plate and really the meat was a little too done, almost a crisp and was just okay. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection, however was lacking somewhat in seasoning and flavor. My wife had the seafood special and for the price I thought it could have a little more to it. It wasn't anything overly special. As customary when I visit any Greek/Lebanese restaurant I always try the tabbouleh. I thought it was a little too much parsley, dry, not enough tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice, etc. I like mine a little more bulgar-heavy. It really was like eating straight up parsley.“
