This used to be a good place to go but they don't have a clue on how to run a restaurant the food is way over priced and the quality is subpar I feel for the servers as they take all the blame for bad management and poor quality the lunch menu were tattered and worn and not up to date and a lot of what was supposed to be on it they were out of I am wondering if they going to close if they are not their patrons will close it for them by voting with their feet
We enjoy Portico particularly when it's the weekend and they have live musicians. We were disappointed that they have taken the redfish and pork chops off the menu even though they appear on their website. They are also out of several of the wines on their wine list. My guest had the shrimp and grits and enjoyed it. I had the pasta with added shrimp. It was excellent and when combined with the large side salad is more than enough for a single meal. Servers are nice and attentive.
