“Man I love finding these ducked off restaurants. Wasn't sure we were in the right place cuz we didn't see the signage. Place was open and folks were coming in to pick up orders the whole time we were there. Staff was friendly and took care of us. I got the wings with Jamaican jerk and hot lemon pepper. Both were good but the Jamaican jerk was the star. Also got the loaded fries as the side which had cheese sauce, I think shredded cheese, and bacon. Not a fan of cheese sauce like that but it was still pretty good. I wouldn't get it the next time I went cuz I would want to try something else but I'd get it again. For the drink, I ordered the strawberry lemonade. Hands down the best strawberry lemonade I've had. Gotta mix up the drink a bit but you'll definitely be wanting more. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area“

“Daisy Dukes Kenner (can't speak about other locations) was a great experience. Food served up fresh and hot...and delicious! We had the hot sausage po-boy and greens! The greens were so well seasoned and the sausage and bread tasted great and authentic (po-boy French roll)! I added the Daisy Dukes sauce to my po-boy (I'm saucy) and it took it to the next level!Between 3-4, you might have the place to yourself. But don't let the absence of a crowd fool you!“

“Crawfish traditional cajun hot (2 lb. min. $6.99/lb. ) with 2 corns ($3.50). They give you gloves and a bib to protect your hands and clothes. My first time eating crawfish! Like little tasty lobster. "Hot" was plenty spicy?️ Cool art on the wall! Fast and good service.“

“First time here. And it was extraordinary! Was traveling for business and invited out by the people I was with. Parking is easy, get reservations early, and the atmosphere is what you want. People are there to enjoy the food without it being loud.“

“Surprising hole in the wall with great poor boys. Service at lunch is a little slow if they're slammed but the food..... it's very very good. Big sandwiches, large portions. Try the roast beef, ham & cheese poorboy and their corn nuggets.Parking: Not a huge lot, fills up quick.“

“I feel that I'm a regular customer here , it's a fun place to go with very good food , I recommend the boudin balls , red beans and the lemon baken chicken breast . my favorite bartender is Lauren, always great to see her , she treats the customers great and knows what she is doing having been there for a while now . they have plenty of well lit parking with people always coming and going .inside they have a nice bar with plenty of seating ,and you can even get your own beer at your table yourself , by the way walk ons in my opinion has the coldest beer you'll find . the waitresses are nice and they will do a song for you, or a friend for their birthday which is very nice and fun . prices are very reasonable and and I like the local atmosphere and plates they have . you can't go wrong here for a good time and great food“

“They have good boiled food but I was tweaking for some crawfish so they were my first go to. 11.29 a lb is absurd but I still bought 2 lbs. and I was upset because the spice was stronger then the flavor. And I love me some spice and seasoning but I couldn't even enjoy because sucking the heads was like putting pure pepper on my tongue. Found some for 5.99 a lb elsewhere and I mean they were on point. Ate the other place 5.99 a lb crawfish 4 days straight.“

I was in awe of the amount of food and the price per plate. “Absolutely enjoyed everything here. We live right around the corner and kept passing it by...man am I glad we stopped in. We were immediately greeted, Got a virgin bloody mary - delicious! Meat pie app, crispy and amazing. Our son ordered catfish kids' meals and asked for 2nds! That never happens! Burger with sweet potato fries. Ice tea was delicious. “The website menu items and pricing is out of date. The Crab salad does not contain much crab..get the regular salad. One salad is good for 3 people. The Oyster Mosca and Shrimp Mosca are must get selections. The pasta and red sauce, too. Last night, the Chicken a la Grande was overdone..pass on this item. I was disappointed they did not have Sangiovese ( on their website menu)....they substituted a Cab Sauv. The pineapple fluff is a rather unusual item. If you email them for something other than reservations, do not expect a response. This is a place to go to with a small group in order to share items ( serving is family style.)“

Soul food, Creole food, Cajun food at this restaurant is $15 & change on an all-you-can-eat buffet ? with a quality & fresh salad ? bar, main courses, and yummy homemade desserts. Everything seasoned just right ✅️ ?, not too salty, not too spicy. The crunchy is beaucoup crunchy & the moist perfectly moist. I loved that perfect cornbread, that crispy fried chicken ? & fried catfish. The Salisbury steaks are satisfying. The ? carrot souffle was amazing. “My go-to restaurant for seafood and lots of other dishes, like a roast beef poboy, salad with homemade dressings, potato salad, more and more! The servers are the best in the business and look forward to exceeding you expectations. Best boiled seafood around and overstuffed poboys (my fave is the shrimp). “Great new small business. We got the chicken n red gravy. I found the gravy could have used more seasonings. I didn't see any bell peppers n wondered what about a bay left ? ? The pizzas are wonderful. I would say YES Give a try.“

“Quaint little diner! The owner was so very sweet. She definitely needed some more help it took a while to get our food, but I had the club sandwich with fried okra and it was so very good, my fiancée had the red beans, she said they were ok needed more seasonings and they were a little cold and needed cornbread instead of the hard crusty French bread it came with. Limited menu though. But definitely will try again next time we are in the area!“

“We went with our "lunch bunch' from St.Francis Villa Assisted Living Facility today (12/28). Jo was our server and she was fabulous! Very welcoming, professional, entertaining, understanding and everything else. The food was very well proportioned; and even more delicious! Thank you for having our residents today. “Ok so I rarely write reviews. This place was bonkers. We picked it because it was lent, we wanted fish and it was on the way. The place looked really simple and had some burnt out neon letters which could either be exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.We walked in to a really clean, open space where the music wasn’t super loud and were sat immediately.Our server was awesome. She was clearly from the area and knew the menu inside and out. The menu isn’t super clear and she was able to talk us through our 10000 midwestern questions.We wanted some deep fried stuff so we ordered pickle chips and onion rings. I never would have expected them to be handmade. They were so good. Like, so good that even though I knew I had to eat more food after I still couldn’t stop eating them. And they had the good ranch. You know what I mean. The really good stuff.The server, Lynn, who, again was so super good, recommended the red fish. I’m from Wisconsin. We don’t have redfish. But. She was so awesome so I tried it.I don’t know what kind of insane stuff they put in their blackening season, but it has to be illegal. It was one of those “I am so full but I can’t stop eating” kind of things. Then when I finished my plate my husband started putting his food from his absurdly huge seafood platter on my plate. Even when I was so full I hated myself, I still at the entire deep fried catfish filet. And I couldn’t stop eating THAT either.Literally go there. I’m not kidding.
