we have enjoyed dining in for years. The smoked meats are excellent although they do not have ham. Sides are good too, except for the coated fries. I go for the light plate now which comes with two ribs and several meat choices (there is a $2 upcharge for brisket for some reason). One bit of advice, bring a jacket because the temperature is always freezing since the old Dickeys era...
This restaurant is actually inside of Elsie's Truck stop and is in no way affiliated with the owners and operators of Elsie's. The restaurant is owned by a local couple in Blanchard and is ran very well. The owner herself is very hands on and is constantly onsite to insure it is run efficiently and quality is upheld. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The fish and the chicken are to die for. You really must visit this location if you like good home cooking food mixed...read full review
