“Fat Calf is my favorite restaurant in the SBC. I don't get to come often, but when I do the experience is always on point. Last night we had Andrew as our server, and he was amazing!”
“We arrived early for a 6:00 reservation, and were seated immediately at a remote corner by the oven. First thought was concern about the server finding us promptly. Our water glasses were filled before getting a grasp of the menus. I normally don't drink water in Shreveport. If you live here, you know why. To my surprise, the water did not have the dirt like taste associated with tap water in Shreveport.Not missing a beat, our server arrived, introduced himself, and took our drink orders. He promptly returned with the cocktails and took our appetizer order, which was a dozen grilled oysters and fried calamari. The oysters were small and a little rocky, but don't miss the Calamari. It comes with two sauces, one was a superb remoulade and the other a thick tomato sauce, not unlike a savory tomato soup, just thicker. The calamari is the best I've eaten. I will order the calamari every time I eat here.We took a while deciding an entre. I finally told the server to pick mine, exclusive of the octopus. It may be excellent, but I can't get passed the thought of tentacles attaching to my uvula. My partner ordered scallops. My server looked at me and let me know that was his choice for me but would choose something else. He left the table, not informing us what my entre would be. I was thrilled! How exciting! I ended up an evening special. It was sea brim with a pistachio crust atop pureed potatoes. It was outstanding. The scallops were hands down, the best I've ever eaten.Normally, restaurants in Shreveport will disappoint me one way or another, be it service, food or drink quality, or environment. I have no complaints with Zuzul. If you are a local or just visiting, don't miss this one. I give my highest recommendation.”

“I absolutely love going into Bourbon Bar after a long day of work or just to hang out during the weekends. Elly always has a smile on her face and the most friendly and welcoming personality. She makes a bad day turn around just by seeing her there when you walk in.”
“This is the perfect neighborhood restaurant! The catfish are fresh and fried to perfection; crispy on the outside, white and flakey inside. The fries are crispy home-style, slightly seasoned, but not heavily. The side salad has mixed greens and cherry tomatoes and is a generous serving. The restaurant is in an established neighborhood and is very casual. Others at my table were very happy with their selections included fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and a shrimp poboy. There service was great and we were able to talk to the owner as well. We will be back soon too try other menu items. The hamburgerslook great!”

Food service is lacking though, wanted to try the Parmesan fries but after 45 minutes and having workers go back to check multiple times, just had to cancel and get a refund and the cashier could not tell us why the fries were not getting made. Other people after us got their food, so not sure why the kitchen staff never made ours. I’ll keep getting drinks, but won’t try the food again as this was not the only time food was forgotten or just never made.”
“I had the pleasure of eating at the Line Avenue location in Shreveport. This was the best service at a restaurant I’ve had in a long time and I go out a lot. Our wonderful server Kia, super nice and professional checked on us several times. The staff that brought the appetizers, bread, salad were also so friendly and professional. I will definitely be back! Madison is the manager and they have a great team at this location! Thank you for a great dining experience. Oh, the food, AMAZING!”

“So, this was my first visit, Isiah is Amazing and was extremely friendly and helpful didn't mind me taking a minute to look and answered all of my questions, also was very patient when there was an issue, then Mary, the manager was also extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help me. They both made this the best experience and I Will Definitely be back!!! I had the Hillbilly Queso with chips and the. Vagabond Taco which is the the Taco of the month, I sincerely hope it joins the menu, the combination of flavors is like a party in your mouth!!!”

“We were looking for a seafood restaurant nearby the RV park we're staying in & this one was 6 minutes away! Perfect! It was busy with quite afew take out orders, but the dine in was quick & we were seated right away. Our waitress, Sarah was very attentive & was patient as we decided what to eat. We ordered the appetizer calamari-the order was huge, golden brown & very good! Finally we ordered the New England crab cakes & kids meal of shrimp & 1 side. Again the portions are huge! We actually brought home half of the kids shrimp & 2 of the crab cakes! After reading the reviews, had to buy a piece of cake & will be snacking on German chocolate as soon as we aren't so full. From the looks of the piece, it will be great!! My suggestion, go hungry!”
“Tasty and affordable tacos. Came during lunch time, it was not busy at all. Had the Baja Slim Tacos. They're not spicy, the beans are tasteless. They really stuff the taco. Fresh tortillas. Wasn't a fan of the Salsa verde (because its not spicy). But the chips & salsa are great. The red salsa is so delicious.Food comes out fast. I like that you order first and then pick a table. Nice atmosphere.Friendly staff, somewhat clean enough bathroom. Would definitely return to try the burritos next time.”
“Apollos is 10/10. Everything I’ve eaten here has been great! The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are excellent. I’m partial to the honey bbq flavor, but I’ve tried most every flavor and I give them all atleast 9/10. Employees are nice and friendly as well! Best hole in the wall joint I’ve been to.”

Not sure if the recipe has changed over the years, but we will be back sooner rather than later. Thank you for offering gluten free. The place was busy which is always good to see at a local establishment. We got our food promptly and it came out correctly. Staff was nice. Highly recommend.”

“Every time I go in there it’s always right before they close, but it doesn’t matter if it’s 15 minutes or two minutes if I go in there and I place an order they treat me like I’m the first customer of the day. They’re always kind they give me grace their patient and they just know that I’d love their eggrolls so much and if I have to Try to beat the clock there. I will, but even if I don’t beat the clock they always treat me right my favorite restaurant, Shreveport Bossier, hands-down”

“I haven’t had the opportunity to go eat at the restaurant but what I want to say is they did catering for a Texas fishing tournament and it was so good! The fish had a good crunch and the batter was perfect. And you know how hard it is to cater fried food for 100’s of people?!? They were working so hard. I hope they know how much we all appreciated what they did and brought to Texas! Thank you for making this experience for our kids and families even more memorable with dang good food!”
“Came here on a Tuesday night and there was live music in the patio. We got sat right away and our serve was the sweetest lady. I didn't catch her name, however she was from France. The margarita extra pizza was delicious. The fig and pug was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The drinks, very great pour!”

My burger comes with sautéed onions. Normally, at other locations, they leave those off the burger for some odd unknown reason. This location made my meal correctly and delicious! The fries were hot and crispy! The Dr. Pepper was on point and yummy. The only downfall was it took over 30 minutes to receive our food in the dining area. The whole location was clean: tables, floors, and bathrooms!Kid-friendliness: I would consider ALL Whataburgers family and kid-friendly. I've never been to a Whataburger and felt uncomfortable with my son being a kid, if you know what I mean. I'm sure the only issue they would have, is if your child is screaming and disturbing guests.Wheelchair accessibility: This location has a large, long table that's wheelchair accessible, plenty enough room for two wheelchairs side by side. With enough seating for another 4 or 5 people or more depending on size, to sit on the opposite side, which is booth seating. We sat 8 people, very comfortably, at this table. 2 of which were children. I would recommend this location for anyone in a wheelchair.”

“I’ve been driving over from Marshall, Texas. The crawfish is excellent. The neck bones and turkey necks with gravy are seasoned to perfection. Shane’s used to be my go to for crawfish but I’m here to tell you Lil Animals have moved them around.”

“Oh my goodness!! Dillas is my new fave place in Shreveport for gluten free foods! I have Celiac disease and had no reaction. I had a gluten free chicken quesadilla that I added veggies to. My friend orders the Black & Blue. Also had the fries and hatch queso. Definitely recommend whether you are gluten free or not!Vegetarian options: They have Salads and veggies for quesadilla. Not sure about cheese options.Dietary restrictions: Best gluten free tortillas I've ever tasted! All quesadillas can be made gluten free.”

Although the brunch menu does not offer many items, almost all the items on that menu are delicious! They do have certain daily specials as well. Perhaps the biggest plus of this place is that they offer bottomless mimosas for only $19 on brunch days. This is absolutely worth it if you drink at least three mimosas which is easily done. Their biggest con, in my opinion, is their cocktails. These drinks are extremely subpar and leave a lot to be desired. The service has always been excellent. “Great little hidden gem. Google told me to come here otherwise I never would have stopped. You have to pay for parking on the street with the meter but that’s the only negative. They have been around forever and have some great food. I got the mushroom chicken sandwich and it came out hot and very fresh. It seemed to have a very steady crowd during lunch time. I would stop here again.”
“So, this was my first visit, Isiah is Amazing and was extremely friendly and helpful didn't mind me taking a minute to look and answered all of my questions, also was very patient when there was an issue, then Mary, the manager was also extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help me. They both made this the best experience and I Will Definitely be back!!! I had the Hillbilly Queso with chips and the. Vagabond Taco which is the the Taco of the month, I sincerely hope it joins the menu, the combination of flavors is like a party in your mouth!!!”

“Milk tea is great, favorite boba! Food service is lacking though, wanted to try the Parmesan fries but after 45 minutes and having workers go back to check multiple times, just had to cancel and get a refund and the cashier could not tell us why the fries were not getting made. Other people after us got their food, so not sure why the kitchen staff never made ours. I’ll keep getting drinks, but won’t try the food again as this was not the only time food was forgotten or just never made.”
“We were looking for a seafood restaurant nearby the RV park we're staying in & this one was 6 minutes away! Perfect! It was busy with quite afew take out orders, but the dine in was quick & we were seated right away. Our waitress, Sarah was very attentive & was patient as we decided what to eat. We ordered the appetizer calamari-the order was huge, golden brown & very good! Finally we ordered the New England crab cakes & kids meal of shrimp & 1 side. Again the portions are huge! We actually brought home half of the kids shrimp & 2 of the crab cakes! After reading the reviews, had to buy a piece of cake & will be snacking on German chocolate as soon as we aren't so full. From the looks of the piece, it will be great!! My suggestion, go hungry!”

Stopped here and had shrimp poboys, her first one ever...and it tasted just like I remember when I was a kid growing up in New Orleans! “Food was great. The drinks were a lot bigger than I thought they would be but I'm definitely not complaining. Everyone there was nice. My sister's order was messed up but they corrected without any issue. If I want just visiting Shreveport to see family, I would definitely go back.”

“I had the pleasure of eating at the Line Avenue location in Shreveport. This was the best service at a restaurant I’ve had in a long time and I go out a lot. Our wonderful server Kia, super nice and professional checked on us several times. The staff that brought the appetizers, bread, salad were also so friendly and professional.
