Very good chicken salad, My son had the burger and both were well worth the wait. Staff is very courteous and want to ensure our experience is noteworthy. Freestate Diner, about 3 months now since they opened. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast served all day. Food, and portion size was great! We ordered (not pictured), two eggs, biscuits and bacon, biscuits and gravy, and a short stack pancakes. We also ordered a slice of carrot cake. It had caramel drizzle on top and it was BOMB! Friendly Workers, sausage was very salty, couldn't eat it, in grits were lumpy,Pancakes was burn, very nice peoples, will go back in, try they lunch menu, and breakfast again and give them another try,But All and All they food prices was cheap I think, you can't eat a full breakfast at their price anywhere.
