Every time I'm driving from FL to NOLA I stop here for the best roast beef po boy around!! Service is fast and friendly. It's a low key, come as you are local place with a great reputation and good menu options. Inside is nothing fancy but it's always clean.
I was a little disappointed today. Service was ok. Food was pretty good, but pricey. It was hard to enjoy though with kids running all around the tables while the lady working was having a personal conversation with their grandad. I paid cash and asked for my receipt, but was given the guest check that she took our order on which doesn’t even show paid. I wanted my register receipt to submit for reimbursement.

I have been thinking about trying this place for a long time, and I finally decided to...I ordered a shrimp po-boy, crab cakes, and bread pudding...IT WAS AMAZING!!! I went back the next day and tried the shrimp platter...SUPERB!!! Another favorite restaurant in Slidell!!!
