I have been thinking about trying this place for a long time, and I finally decided to...I ordered a shrimp po-boy, crab cakes, and bread pudding...IT WAS AMAZING!!! I went back the next day and tried the shrimp platter...SUPERB!!! Another favorite restaurant in Slidell!!!

Every time I'm driving from FL to NOLA I stop here for the best roast beef po boy around!! Service is fast and friendly. It's a low key, come as you are local place with a great reputation and good menu options. Inside is nothing fancy but it's always clean.

I was a little disappointed today. Service was ok. Food was pretty good, but pricey. It was hard to enjoy though with kids running all around the tables while the lady working was having a personal conversation with their grandad. I paid cash and asked for my receipt, but was given the guest check that she took our order on which doesn’t even show paid. I wanted my register receipt to submit for reimbursement.

Burger was dry, bread was really stale and the customer service was terrible. They were not friendly in the slightest. Couldn't substitute Mac n cheese for beans. The blonde hair lady at the register was not friendly at all. I will not be going back

Last stop on the way out of NOLA, by happenstance. Did not get the famous poboy or the beignets while in the city, so this was the stop. Everything was great, so glad we stopped, we were truly surprised.

Fried Shrimp was super tasty with a light crust and seasoning. Hard to see the sign after getting off the freeway. The seafood Poboy was good with fresh bread. A good stop if you want a good meal off the freeway in this area.

14 Dollars for Red Beans and rice . On top of that the portion was small. Averaged out to be about two dollars a spoon full
