“Found this place by accident after LONG road-trip and what a surprise it was! Had their pork chop sandwich and it was great! My wife had the fried catfish plate and it was a lot and very good. Definitely would go out of my way again if I'm in the area.“

“great food, ample servings, expensive, but worth every penny we love their stuffed shrimp basket, but I do substitute the boiled potatoes with butter and seasoning on them for the fries the fries showed me nothing and I always ask for the slaw and green pickled tomatoes or they do not give them to you I also get the fried catfish, a pound with loaded potatoes, all that is very good And their ribs are nice and meaty though they are more like baked ribs, not cooked out back I get the loaded potato with those too because to us the potato salad and beans are just not veyr good Shanes is our favorite neighborhood place out here“

“Windrush has great lunch and dinner options. Their chocolate sack is an easy win to feed the whole table dessert. The brunch is great IF what you want is available. We've had to choose again several times because the kitchen was out of a menu item (and this was near opening, not towards the end of the day when it would be understandable). We like it enough to keep going back....I may just call ahead next time to make sure they have the chicken and waffles available because they are really good!“
